I think it was Brothers and Sisters on Fierce Panda.. could be wrong though.

Brothers and Sisters on Fierce Panda was the first single, but the first single from Parachutes was Shiver, barely sold any...i got my copy though :D

NOW!

don't you just love this website/message board?

I don't have it... :( ashamed to say... but well maybe one day when I'm rich and I can buy all the collector's items... :P

Shiver, though not the most popular Coldplay song, got them noticed. It was the setup song for Yellow, and the rest was history.

Wow, I am surprised that Shiver didn't sell well. It is my favorite song from Coldplay ( and I don't change around with my favorites ) and I when I saw the video I was even more impressed, I mean I don't even play an instrument, but they way they were playing with so much effort and emotion. And I didn't even get Parachutes the album until after AROBTH.

I have the Brothers and Sisters. Although I don't like the title track too much, I really do like the other's. They're great.

And Feirce Panda and Frostbite Panda? Is that a coincidence?
