You're The One I Wanted To Find(1170 total words in this text)(7 Reads) On Thursday morning I had to go into the city before work to pick up some dress pants & some dress shoes because I had a business dinner that night that I’d only found out about the day before. So I’ve gotten into the city about 10am & rushed around to find pants & shoes which I did, so went over to Borders books to have a look around, I’ve walked out & gone to cross the street at the intersection to head over to the Myer shopping centre. I’ve crossed the street & as I’ve gotten to the other side of the street a figure has walked in front of me, I knew immediately that it was Mr Jonathan Mark Buckland! So I’ve called out “Jonny?” as he’s walked onto the escalator & I’ve gotten onto the escalator next to him. He’s turned to look at me & I’ve just freaked out, lost my words as I’ve seen his face. He must have seen the look on my face & said “So, what’s your name?” I’ve answered “Mel” as we have reached the top of the escalators. Then I’ve said “You’re my favourite!” Then this huge big grin spread across his face. After that everything is still a little blurry, but it goes a little like this. I still had issues talking, I think I just looked at him & said “Wow!” He asked “So what have you been up to today? Shopping?” as he looked down at my shopping bags. I said “Yes.” And then I asked “What have you been doing?” he replied “Yeah, shopping too, just a few things for the tour…” then he’s looked at my shopping bags and asked “So you brought shoes?” (the shoe box was visible) and I said “Yes, I needed to buy shoes & pants for a business meeting I have tonight, ‘cause all I have right now is these (I motioned towards the jeans & converse sneakers I was wearing, he was also wearing jeans & converse)” to which he’s replied “I wear them everywhere”. I smiled said “Yes, but you’re a boy, I can’t ‘cause I’m a girl.” He laughed and agreed. Then I said that I still had plans on wearing jeans & converse to the concert, he replied with “That’s ok, there’s no dress code.” I then said something about how I’ve got a busy weekend because of some concerts & he’s asked “Oh, so you’re going? Which night?” I’ve replied with “Both”. He’s looked amazed and said “Really?” And I’ve said I paid a far bit of money for Friday’s ticket and he’s said “Oh, I’m Sorry!” to which I replied, “Oh, its not your fault!” He’s then said “Well we will have to make each night different for you… if I’d known I would have put you on the guest list!” I’ve just been gob smacked. I lost all words again. Then we just smiled at each other. After that I tried to explain what the business meeting was about & that I am a Naturopath. I then acted all shy about asking for a photo. And he has said “Oh sure, lets move over here.” So we have moved away from in front of the escalators. Just as I was getting my camera out I asked about what else he’s been up to when he got into town. He said he had been in bed for all of yesterday with really bad jetlag & that it was strange leaving London with sunshine & then I said it was strange from him to arrive in Brisbane with rain & we laughed about how he’s travelled from one opposite to another because it rarely rains here in Brisbane and that the sun rarely shines in London. I’ve gotten my camera out & gone to take a self-taken picture of us and said “well, I guess I’ll do it like this…” then he’s taken the camera from me and said “Here, I’ve got long arms”. We pose & he takes the photo. Then a couple of school girls came up to say “Hi” to Jonny. He’s said hello & then asked why they weren’t in school & if they were going to either of the concerts. They explained that they were having their semi-formal (kinda like a school dance or mini-prom) that night & had the day off to get their hair done. Jonny laughed & was amazed that they had the day off school to get their hair done. I’ve looked at him and said “it’s a girl thing!” and we have both laughed. Then I offered to take a picture of the girls with Jonny, took a couple of photos of them & then the girls said thanks, wrote down their email address & gone on their way. Just after they left Jonny’s looked back at me and said “Is there a place around here that I can buy some sunglasses?” I’ve replied “Yes, its over…umm… I’ll just take you there if you’d like?” he’s replied “Oh would you? Thanks!” So we have walked off together. While walking I pulled out two copies of miel magazine (a poetry, short fiction & art magazine that I edit) and said “These are for you.” And then explained what they were. He has thanked me. I’ve then said “I don’t know if you even like poetry… “ he’s replied “I don’t read much poetry, but I like short stories.” I’ve said “Oh good, they have short stories in them too!” He’s said “I’m reading some german and dutch books at the moment” I’ve asked “Really? In german & dutch?” he’s replied “Oh, no… ” Then he’s open his shoulder bag to show me the books he brought that morning, Goethe and Gogol. We have had a talk about the authors and writing that I can’t remember all the details of. We are getting closer to the sunglasses shop and he’s asked where we were now and I’ve said that were in the Myer centre & going up to the next level. So we have gotten on the escalator to go up and I’ve motioned to the sunglasses shop and said “Sunglasses!”. We have stopped out front and he has thanked me for the magazines (he called them books) and for showing him around. & then he shook my hand and said that he hopes I will enjoy the shows. I’ve thanked him & gone to walk away. He’s had a quick look around the shop & then gone to walk out so I’ve walk pass him & pointed out that there is another sunglasses shop across the mall, he’s thanked me again & flashed that fabulous Jonny smile. Overall he was such a sweetheart to me, SO lovely – he didn’t have to talk with me he could have just said he had to go but he didn’t. He is such a beautiful, intelligent, caring person. This experience will stay with me for the rest of my life. [Thanks loversforlilly]

June 25, 200619 yr Author allora mio zio maurizio m ha comunicato ke venerdí prossimo andrá a prendere 1 ragazza all´aereoporto...é la sua vicina di casa( sta a Sedico) si kiama Martina e ha + o - la nostra erá e vorrebbe impoarare il tedesco...e quindi io dovrei(in teoria) tenerle compagnia la sera---sxo solo nn sia 1a ciccy della serie tany!
June 25, 200619 yr Author si...ma bisogna vedere...anke xké io la maggior parte del tempo sto giu a lavorare quindi.... cmq poi ieri sera sai ke sn uscita cn sara e mana no?----beh é stato bello alla fine...simao andate in centro a osnabruck e popi ci siamo fermate a bere qualcs...molto rilasssante...poi c´era 1 maniaco ke cntinuava a fissare mia sorella, 1 ubriaco ke c´ha provato cn mia cugina e poi 1 a cui mia sorella ha fatto credere ke eravamo spagnole perché voleva soldi per la festa dell´addio al celibato del suo amico!:p
