Now, I warn you, this next poem is crap. Pure crap. Gahhh. Here it is, anyway:

 

I have finally reached

The shores of bliss

I have thrown away all of my possessions

Casted away my material worries

To run away with you to utopia

 

It's time for me

To set free what has been haunting me forever

There's no one to tell us we can't

There's no sign that says stop

 

I'm ready to let go

And run swiftly, barefoot

Through the fields of dewy grass

I'm ready to chase the song of the meadowlark

And count the stars in the sky above me

 

I've waited long and patiently

For the moment when I could stop my yearnings

For a life with only you and I and the world ahead of us

Where our only worry would be the past

You have recaptured my soul

And now I'm ready to express

All the things you knew all along

 

I've seen my dreams in your eyes

And my passion in your words

I rushed headlong into your seas

Full of rough waves

That I couldn't swim against

Yet you showed me your sparkling depths

And guided me with your currents

To understanding and fulfillment

 

You're the one that saved me

From my slow suffocation

And you'll never know

How I reached my paradise

By your hope

lovely little car club is what he said to me

how sweet was what i said

but what was really going through my head

was can we get together again?

recapture what we once had, had

I know, I know, it's the past

So not exactly relive it but begin again

start over, fresh, you know it's best.

Can't you see that I miss you that

I love you that I want to be with you

with my whole being. I do, I do!

is so good to read all this poems! it makes me feel so good, is a runaway... i want to post some stuff but it's all in portuguese, so i'll try to translate but it is hard sometimes.

I'm in my world of darkness,

I see only what I can,

the light is to far to reach,

and life seems grim,

I hold on to this feeling,

hoping it will guide,

but right now I am seeing,

that all I can do is find,

myself getting lost in your eyes,

my feet falling out from underneath me,

my heart breaking with every moment,

and life being everything but what it seemed to be,

I can't find the light, and this darkness won't subside,

I only wish to see true light,

once again in our life.
