So I DID record the Scientist... And I WILL post it. However, I haven't quite got the vocals as good as I want them, so give me time :)

It's all acoustic guitar and vocals (considering I neither play, nor own a piano). I recorded on GarageBand, through the microphone that's built-in to my iBook, so obviously it's not the best possible recording conditions (not to mention that I recorded it in my bedroom, which is not the most sonically friendly place to record...).

 

It's not on rapidshare, because we don't get along ;)

ye i did everything i put a layer of rythym guitar down first which isnt in the real recording this was the base which i worked around.I then added the drums through my keyboard,then i added the bass again through keyboard but i have since bought a bass guitar so expect better bass lines in future! after that i added the strings and piano and finally i added the lead guitar if i could sing good enough i would put a vocal on it but my voice is too deep and it just sounds terrible when it is recorded.Anyway thanks for the compliment!

 

i will upload another cover soon i think a Rush of blood to the head i did quite well so maybe that.

and also i play clocks on the keyboard but am totally un-technologically advanced so therefore dont know how to post it anyway lol

when you click the link scroll down to the bottom and then click free when the next page comes up scroll down to the bottom and u should have a download ticket reserved and the timer counting down from about 20 secs after the 20 secs the name of the file comes up and u just click on it then download hope this helps!!!

Na singing aint my strong point i also have yellow and green eyes recorded the yellow version is fine but the quality of the green eyes is pretty bad as i recorded it last year and i hadnt got the equipment i use now.I also have another cover of god put a smile upon your face without the quartet which i made,also any requests are welcome if anybody would like me to try my hand at a cover and upload it i will.I think i will upload yellow next.
