Hey all what do you think are some of Wills best drum beats?Sure some songs sound like they have the same drum beat but they are all different in a way.And surely there are many that are just awesome!So what are your top favs?Here are mine.

Some people may take them for granted, but just listen to the drums that start "In My Place." They are just perfect.

Well it's definitely out of the ordinary. For the longest time I couldn't follow Will's snare beat at the end part of Low.

 

Plus, I never even realized it, but he's also doing the symbols at the same time. That takes talent.

I'm surprised no one's said Spies yet. I love his drums in that song, how he does a bunch of the beat on the toms. It's awesome.

its like the EASIEST DRUM BEAT EVER...well maybe not ever..VERY creative and good very good i could play it by listening to it a few times while playing the drums then it was easy

How long have you been playing drums? It's pretty easy IMO. Just play a lot and you'll get used to using all your limbs independently. Don't worry. :D

I wish i could play the drums, i tried one time years ago with a friend who plays, he tried to teach me some simple things and apparently i'd be quite good...i wish i'd taken it up!

That's the first song I learned to play. :)

...and today I just gave "Things That I Don't Understand" a good listen, and he has a lot of good crash fills in there.

 

Especially that part after Chris sings "or my day from night", with the five consecutive bass beats and crashes.

I hear ya... He has a very 'pianist' approach when it comes to drums, absolutely unique! :D

 

Wow, a female drummer! Not very common, I used to play a little for a couple of years, some basic stuff, and have never quite shaken off the bug since... Although I don't get to bash on a set anymore, I just move to the beats whenever a catchy one comes on... Onlookers must think I'm having a rhythmic seizure + Parkinson's or somthing :rolleyes: :lol:
