bonnie(cheese) sorry haven't been able to post here cos i can't multi-task my heads spinning with work that i wasn't able to do cos of commenwealth games.

 

that's where i saw the Cat Empire and the lead singer of Grinspoon backstage at the MCG.

I was taking some of the kids to thier rehersal i was walking back when i happened to look around and i had to do a double take!! walking beside me was Will THE CAT EMPIRE DRUMMER!!! i had to make sure beside him was the DJ guy and ahead was a group of which i could make out Felix!!!

i looked up at will (really tall compared to me) and gushed "Are you the Cat Empire?" (stupid Q i know but what if i was dreaming- i wanted to make sure)

Will: yes

Me: you guys are AWESOME! i've seen you guys at the palace

Will: do you mean the prince of wales (Drat stupid me again of course that what i meant)

Me: (going red) yeah and i've seen you guys at....etc etc

Will: so how are you enjoying volunteering -is it boring? (OMG he was actually asking me a Q!!!! )

So we ended up coming to the VIP area of which i was not allowed in said goodbye and that my sis loved them etc. i was so giddy i forgot to ask for an autograph.

What i loved about it was that he was really humble i mean he was so suprised that i was talking to him and he looked ahead at Felix as if to say don't you want to talk to the famous ones?!? ( that or i creeped him out LOL)

 

i told a fellow volunteer about it their response "The Wha-?"

 

i also saw Little Gi an aboriginal rapper she was one of the dancers and i ran after her asking for her autograph once i did that two other people asked for her signature even though they had no clue who she was.

 

i feel so happy thinking it over again *hugs Cat Empire CD*

And yes Bonita, thanks for asking... Aussieland is one of the best countries in the world (not that I've been to that many :lol:)! Be happy and proud to live in it! Though at times I have to admit you guys can occasionally border on loopy :thinking: and be a touch too self-absorbed in your own affairs and forget that any place else exists in this world :lol:... But it's all going great. Loving the people, the weather, and especially the life-style... And I'm glad to say that I'm finally enjoying my studies, which wasn't the case earlier back home... Just lovely all round :D

came back home today. i had a pretty damn good time, alot of stuff happened :D :stunned:

its pretty funny because you would have thought we would be going out all night and doing all crazy stuff but we actually stayed at her home and did crazy stuff there :D and it was heaps fun.

 

her window was smashed on the first night by a couple of friends who were ballroom dancing like idiots, then they fell into it haha. we got it fixed the next day, but sel ended up telling her parents because the paint colour had changed around the edge and she was paranoid. but instead she said that i chucked a shoe at her because she stole my Le Snack and it missed :D

...man the interogation was scary... :stunned: :laugh4:

lol cool story. i had a friend who went home really pissed one day, and was so drunk she accidentally smashed some glass mirror on a stair case or something, and her mum was gonna be so pissed off at her that she decided the only way to get out of trouble was to make sure she had an injury to cover up the accident. so she proceeded to put gashes in her legs with broken glass, which of course worked and her mum didnt really care that much lol.

my hols have been good though. been doing lots of stuff! but now i have to do some ASSignments... modern history sucks balls, why did i do it!?
