omg you are so lucky yeah they aren't coming back to the uk/ire until summer just to play some festivals :( but then i can see them again coz they only played over here 2 months ago ;) :D hope you have fun jess and take some pics and post them up!! ;)

I know they opened for Pearl Jam when I went, but we got inside after they'd already performed (fucken long line to get in). I've never heard any of their stuff.

I saw them support Coldplay at Wembley, but at the time I wasn't really into them! 'The Remote Part' is a very good album though :)

easily one of the best and most under-rated bands in the last 6/7 years. i suppose they are an aquired taste to some peoples ears, but to me they are top 5 without a doubt. 'The Remote Part' wasn't their best effort to date and you should check out their earlier stuff, 'Captain', 'Hope Is Important' and '100 Broken Windows'. i was gutted about Bob leaving the band just before the start of the Coldplay tour, to me he was the energy in the band and its missed now i feel.

I saw them live on Thursday(17th) and they were great! :) I took some pics and I'll scan them in soon! :) (although most of them came out pretty dark :( )
