You know the drill...what do you's all think the 4th single will be??

Total guess, I am saying 'White Shadows'

i'm going with What If ... if the band say they think it will be on their greatest hits one day then surely it must be a single ...

I'm still for Square One. It's too good to ignore... plus the Coldplaying preview said it was a probable single. They weren't wrong about Clocks, were they? ^_~

I also think What If, due to the fact that we know they love it and are really proud of it, plus its quite different to SOS and Fix You. I think it would make a great single!

Mmmh...I'm hoping it's Square One, but it sounds to similar to Talk maybe, so they'll pick a song with another style. What If or White Shadows.

My 3 faves for fourth single would be Low, Square One or Twisted Logic. I just love Low full stop, Square One is powerful and would make a great single and Twisted Logic would go down well with the public I think. The political element to it could make it really popular.

I think it will be some sort of ballad song,since they went SOS,Fix You,Talk, and next if they go with the same rotation it should be a ballad.Also if you look at all their previous singles from the 2 albums there were 2 up tempo and 2 ballads.Dont know though im jus saying they could do somethin different this time.

I hope there isn't one. Sorry, 4 singles is always at least 1 too many and I doubt the b-sides will be anything worthwhile by now.

Square One or What If

I hope it's Low.

Coldplay wants to be "heavier" in the future so the release of the 4th and last single (5 singles is too much) must be something a bit more "rock and dark" that previous singles.

So in my opinion it won't be What If whiwh is pretty similar to Fix You (and is the second track of the album, bad rank for a single). But it's one of the most appreciated track, so why not ?

Square One ? This song sounds a bit to weird in its construction to be put on radios, or maybe without the final part maybe

A message don't sound like a single, Twited Logic and Swallowed in the sea too.

 

So White Shadows or Low ?

I wish that it would be White Shadows which sound more like a large-public track, and is in a good position in the tracklisting of X&Y, and the final part is maybe the best they've done in my opnion.

Honestly, White shadows is my least favorite song on X&Y. I dont know why, I just dont like it as much as the rest of the songs, and usually skip over it, so I hope its not that. I'm hoping it will either be "square one" or "a message." I think "a message" has single written all over it.

Apart from LOVING this song, I agree with Mr Brightside, White Shadows sounds great for the radio, the first time I heard it, I definately thought that it sounded great for the radio. I wish it does get released!

I remember I went to see Wedding Crashers and I had read before on here that Sparks was played during the movie, but kind of forgot. As soon as it started playing, I yelled "OMG COLDPLAY! OMG SPARKS!" luckily the theater wasn't too crowded. :D
