There is no doubt in my mind that it'll be 'Swallowed in the Sea'. It was the track that iTunes highlighted when the album first came out, but then Fix You replaced it somehow.

Id say it is a song which they play live every night, no? so i go for square one, cos its a great tune.

really good. but i would also like square, the hardest part or something slow like swallowed in the sea. and speed of sound and talk were fast songs, and fix you a slow song. so i think coldplay will choose between what if, sits or X&Y

White Shadows because Coldplay are boring and predictable when it comes to picking singles. If they were real men and took control of their musical destiny they would pick Low.

Definetly has to be White Shadows that song should of been the first single...

square one is an opening song so if that was going to be a single it would be 1st or 2nd

but my theory is the last video was black and white and if they planned on using white shadows thats better black and white. so i think Low

I think White Shadows. It's pretty radio-friendly. In fact, I heard it today on the radio.

White Shadows. It has so much energy. Especially the opening drums.

It has 'will do good on the radio' written all over it.

What If,I think,because they love it and I read an interview (when they published SOS) where Chris said that the songs that could be singles, were,to him, five:Talk,What If,Fix You,A Message and Swallowed In The Sea,so probably it will be What If because it is different from SOS,Fix You and Talk!

Anyway I hope it'll be Square One!It is such a great song..I like it so much!!!! Or White Shadows,for the same reasons!

I'm with White Shadows but it's just my opinion on which should be the next single, I can't really predict which are they thoughts :P

White Shadows shouldn't be the 4th single - two upbeat, same-sounding tracks released as singles after each other is NOT a good idea.

 

Looking at the poll on the main site - are people insane?? Swallowed In The Sea as the 4th single??? :o UGH...

Low, its their fastest track and I think they need to use it

I've got a feeling I've already posted in this thread, but meeeh. If it isn't White Shadows, I'm going to be having words. That song's too good to be just an album song, plus they've been doing it on tour so everyone's familar with it. To look at the other contenders, you could only really release Square One as a first single, I think...and What If, they said the other day that they haven't played that (Before the Radio 2 sessions) since they first released Speed of Sound...that suggests to me that it's not a likely single candidate, plus to me it's too similar to Fix You, people won't buy it. A Message has been performed on CD:UK and is pretty good, so might be a possibility, but none of the others would really have the impact you'd expect they'd want as closure to X&Y...unless they release X&Y itself?

 

All this rambling is my way of saying PICK WHITE SHADOWS, PLEASE GOD. :D

it will be either message or what if if it even comes to releasing the 4th single, what if (cus the band likes it-will espectially) and message (cus they perform it on tv-cd:uk..
