How can I rip video from internet?

Featured Replies

maybe someone in technologicalized forum can better assist you. ;)

i got this info from victaniac which was very helpful

i've downloaded them but haven't tried them out yet

Hey Val

I think you mean ripping videos? Well first, you'd need Url Snooper , it finds the hidden mms links (mms is for windows media, or wmv) and rtsp links (rtsp is for real audio). After, you'd need this program that extracts the material from those links, I use SDP for extracting mms links and HiDownload to extract the material from rtsp links.

The reason I use two different ones is because SDP doesn't extract real audio, and while HiDownload extracts both wmv's and real audio, it's not free and you only have 30 uses. So I only use it with the real audio stuff! lol

thanks to victaniac once again

and i hope it helps you leeds ;)

Thanks! lets try it  :D

Heh I think victaniac got the info from me a while ago and I got it from elsewhere on the net ;) . URL Snooper is a realy nice program and quite helpful. HiDownload although it as great at downloading streaming stuff, the copy I have is really buggy. Hopefully there are other good programs out there, but HiDownload whould serve you well.

Btw, the links to the programs are: URL Snooper and HiDownload.

hope it works ;)

Oh yeah, I took Victaniac's advice on the url snooper and hidownload and it works really well! You should try it :)

I use Notepad and HiDownload to work out my streaming downloads. Takes a bit of getting used to but.
