What's Debs do to sponser a 'good boy' image?

 

I haven't seen anything on the websites, nor do I ever go on the official forums. So can someone clear this up for me, please?

 

when debs was asked for how long has chris been clean, she said it was a rude question (which really was, the whole way of asking..)

and that chris has been clean for his whole life which is a lie cus eve chris admitted he smoked weed.

Debs answered the question correctly. If he tried weed once or twice or experimented, it doesn't mean that he was addicted. Therefore a question like "how long has he been clean" makes no sense because he was never deeply involved to begin with. He has been "clean" all his life.

 

And besides, how do we even know that Debs knows that about Chris? I'm pretty sure the guys don't sit around telling Debs the story of their entire lives since birth. It's not fair the way you keep saying "she lied" when you don't really know.

Victaniac- he surely wasn't clean while taking the weed so in one hand she was lying but on the other you're correct..as for Debs-she does consult ppl close to coldplay for similar issues..

your right...when a record label is investing so much money into a band they demand to know every thing about them. so if they have skeletons in their closet, debs and the record label would most likely know about them.

I don't think Travis do drugs either. I remember once reading an article where Fran Healy said that he wanted to show that a rock band CAN be drug free and not have tattoos or body piercings.

 

There should be more bands like this and I'm sure that Coldplay are one of them! Certainly Chris is so health conscious, and such a family man now that I am certain he doesn't take anything.

 

I think this is why Coldplay appeal to such a cross-section of people. :)

Travis DID drugs, that's for sure, I think. It was weed as I know.

I think we should consider things: someone being in a band and in the spotlight and being a regular human at the same time.

Of course, I'm not happy with someone doing drugs or experimenting with them or anything, because I'm worried that they will do harm to themselves, and that worries me a lot :(

But there are a LOT of people doing it, and we just care about Coldplay just because they're in the spotlight. And yes, cos we love them, it's obvious.

I don't think I was clear, sorry :( But I just wanted to say that thogh I'm not happy with this drug thing we should accept that it was involved in their life too.

well that interests me the most, the thing that bugs me the most, is not the fact they do or have done some drugs than the fact that they're presented to us (not by their will) like super-duper heroes.

So I guess the boys have done drugs, yes. Probably only weed, but that's a drug too. I don't think they would deny having done it if they were asked to tell the truth. Chris even admitted it once, I think we all read that quote.

And yes, I think you're right. I hate when people are being made fool of. But I don't know what Debs or anyone else said about this thing, so I don't know if they lied or not.

But I think, the boys can't start an interview with stating that Debs and everyone else lied and they have done drugs indeed. And also maybe they have no idea what others state about them.

So I think they've done it, admitted it also. And I don't think they had a peptalk to decide what they'd tell the media or even Debs.

But I'm sure they wouldn't deny it, to be honest.

me too, but they do rely on debs, cus she does do their site and everything else, and she's often with them.i agree that they just don't start the interview stating debs lied, but on the other hand this the proff how much control they have today, and after being in corporate-shit.

No, really, I don't think it's ok to state things about others, especially when it's obviously a bloody lie. Only the boys can tell the truth, I mean they've done it so they're the only ones who're genuine in this issue. I don't believe anyone else, let it be about a nice thing or not.

Re whether the guys have 'done' drugs, I would bet my mortgage on it that they have tried them. What young person hasn't these days, sadly. But there is a difference between just experimenting once, and being an addict, which I am absolutely certain none of the Coldplay members have ever been.
