I warned them about this.

They're gonna regret it.

  you're too funny!

I think it's awesome that they don't do drugs. Other than their music, I like Coldplay cause they're not your typical "rock stars"....not a lot of drugs, drinking, women, big egos, etc. They just seem like a bunch of normal guys who just make some incredible music. The fact they're not into drugs really contributes to this.

I'm sure the guys have tried like... smoking or pot or something' date=' but probably nothing heavy. They just don't seem that way. Which is good, since they're probably the first rock band that don't do drugs.[/quote']

I can't remember hearing anyone from U2 were doing drugs.

Adam Clayton was arrested for possession of cannibus in the late 80s. I think that's pretty close to doing them.

Damn, he's the bassist too. ;)

:) chris...honestly, i do not think they do drugs...they wouldnt be so open and cool about it. we are learning about lie detection in psychology(comes in handy, trust me :sneaky: ) and a person that is saying the thruth about stuff like it wouldnt joke about it. last year i knew three kids in my economics class who were drug users...and they didnt say it so openly...just to brag, no one does...unless youre bob marley(kidding) :stunned:

coldplay is the cleanset band in the world, and knowing who much of a clean freak gwen is, she wouldnt have married chris if he was a drug addict... :/

first of all...there is quite a difference between smoking weed on occasion and being a drug addict...and never once have any of the bad members ever actually denied using any type of drug. it really doesn't matter if they use...though i would be a bit dissapointed...its their decision but i think what they have to remember is they are still very young, and if they intend to keep the band going for years to come then they must not go down the path that so many before them have.

I think Chris is the only one who doesn't smoke or do any type of drugs...

thats all I am going to say on the matter. Obviously the band will never admit to doing drugs.. it would taint their image. So speculate all you like.. but I do know the truth. :sneaky:

first of all...anyone who thinks that Guy and Jonny dont smoke weed on occassion is crazy...its a not so well kept secret that i think everyone can figure out

I think they all (or some of them.. I *think* including Bono) did pot, but nothing heavier. See, since like U2 are Catholics and stuff and I have this book and it's about their like "spiritual journey" or whatever and it says that they did drugs... so... I guess.

secret...where did you found this? :sneaky:

r u sure chris isnt on weed? i mean it would explain the dancing. :P

chris doesn't smoke, will rarely, and guy and jonny do fairly regularly

Chris on weed would explain a lot of things.

But then again, so does Chris on chocolate.

They don't strike me as a bunch of guys who do that sort of thing :)

edge tripped on some shrooms.

LMFAO LMFAO LMFAO KELLI.

And WHO told you THAT!?!

:uhoh:

Who cares what Coldplay does? As long as they're healthy and not endangering themselves or anyone else, and they keep making AMAZING, wonderful music, then it's none of our business. That's the truth. It's fun to speculate (I guess) but I wouldn't get worked up about it.

CHRIS PLEASE STOP DOING THIS TO YOURSELF

Doing... what to himself? Drugs? But... wait. Confused. I thought you didn't believe it. Whaaa?

chris basically does not use drugs, will i'm not sure about and if he does its rare, jonny and guy use more than people think (and by this i mean people thinking they dont use at all)...lets just say they smoke more than cigs

Haha. I was joking. :sneaky:

From Rolling Stone, June 30-July 14, 2005.

One time someone had some skunk, and I was really gonna make an effort to get stoned because I was sick of what everyone was saying about it. It didn't do anything. Y'know, chocolate does things for me that it doesn't do for anyone else."

-Chris Martin

Awww that reminds me of Chris's 2003 live quote "Please listen to more Coldplay and please eat more chocolate" or something along those lines.
