December 2, 200520 yr I used to watch almost every race, I was in Hockenheim once. I knew someone who was a member in the Sauber supporter club, so I had the possibilty to go to some pracice in Magny Cours and to their factury in Hinwil, which was very interesting actually. The last time I was there was at Sauber's 150 GP in Imola. Anyway a lot of things changed since then. I'm not that intested anymore, but still I sometimes enjoy watching the races.

December 2, 200520 yr I'd vote for Lance Armstrong... I mean even I had doubts he'd win it again this year... and he put those doubts to rest very quickly... Can't deny the man, he's amazing!
December 4, 200520 yr In my opinion, no question it should be Lance Armstrong to win the Tour De France 6 consecutive times after recovering from testicular cancer is both incredible and inspirational. Ullrich is also a great cyclist but was outclassed by Lance every time it mattered - fact. Of the names in the poll I guess Isanbayeva deserves it for being utterly dominant all year. Live Strong.

December 4, 200520 yr I've said this before and I'll say it again: I know it's amazing what he's done; to come back from cancer and win the Tour de France 7 times, but he never took part in any other race. So how is he considered the best sportsman??

December 4, 200520 yr Did I say 6?! I must have forgotten this years win as it was so easy!!! Taxi for Ullrich and Basso.... If not Lance then Federer has been awesome this year in Tennis so I'd vote for him or Ricky "the hit man" Hatton in Boxing!

If you don't care about competing in something then you're not the best sportsman!!
