September 21, 200916 yr God, if I were in the UK, I would jump all over those tickets. I want to see them so bad. D: Guess who's going to see PT today? Actually she went to bed already, but still! Hope you have an awesome time at the concert, chica! :D In other PT related news, I so want upcoming Live DVD. Have you guys seen the new and improved site? It's pretty kickass. Is it obvious that I'm loving Porcupine Tree at the moment? XD

September 21, 200916 yr It was in Tilburg. Well guys, I am off. Hitting the road in a couple hours! Excited doesn't even begin to describe ...!
September 22, 200916 yr It was EXCELLENT! Setlist: The Incident (Whole first disc.) 10 Minute break. The Start of Something Beautiful Buying New Soul The Pills I'm Taking (Middle section of Anesthetize) Lazarus Strip The Soul .3 Bonnie the Cat Encore: Mother and Child Divided Trains AH-MAZING! The Incident sounded incredible live. I have such a new appreciation for it since seeing it done live! I was up in the front row, a little off center towards Colin's side of the stage. SW kept coming towards the edge of the stage right in front of me when he was jamming at some parts. It was just so awesome despite the fact that the equipment arrived late, meaning PT didn't even really get a proper soundcheck and they hit the stage about one hour later than they should've. They were really awesome despite a couple of hitches and I can't wait to get another chance to see them again! Strip the Soul into .3 is just so SWEET.
September 23, 200916 yr Nice! I could definatly live with that set list. Bad news abou the late start, didnt effect the length of the show it sounds like though. Sounds like you had a great time at the front! How early did you get there?

Sounds like you had a great time at the front! How early did you get there? Yeah, they got to play the full amount of time and they did so well despite the lack of a proper soundcheck. I got there at 5 pm but it didn't really matter when since they lined the ticket club members up separately and as long as you got there before the line started, you were fine. My mate and I were the second and third people in line, so we were able to secure a lovely spot up front. I was a little disappointed with not being able to nab center up until I saw that if I had, I wouldn't have had SW directly in front of me.
September 23, 200916 yr Just saw them on Monday in Cleveland Ohio also. I was about 10 feet from stage. They played amazing, I can't believe you, Litany ^ were there also. The band was alot better live than I expected

September 24, 200916 yr Haha, yeah. I waved it around a bit and when he noticed, he went, "For me?" I nodded and he took it. It was awesome. :)

Post up some of your pics if you have any good ones:D Whats your fav part of The Incident? So I finally fninshed creating a few Deadwing cover arts :D [/img] http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/39/porcupinetreecoverartco.jpg' alt='porcupinetreecoverartco.jpg'> [/img]
September 25, 200916 yr Couldn't take pictures. They had guys watching the entire front row. My favourite part of The Incident is either how well Occam's Razor went into The Blind House live, or the part in the full version of Time Flies right after the solo and everything that goes, "How does time break down?". I also have a great, new appreciation for Circle of Manias. Aggggh!!! It was so awesome! Nice arts, by the way!
September 25, 200916 yr Author i love that part with "how does time break down".... i've listened to the incident a bunch of times this past week, and so far i'm really loving it though i miss the "in absentia/deading" days.....
September 25, 200916 yr Yeah, I think I was a little disappointed that it wasn't like those but on the other hand if it had been, where's the progress and evolution? After seeing it live, I am REALLY happy with the new album.

Those were 2 great albums! But I definatly like the new direction PT have took.
October 7, 200916 yr So, now that The Incident is almost a month old, what are the opinions now? Still loving it? Has it worn out it's welcome? Do tell! I still love it. I have toned down on my listening of it in the last couple weeks but there before and right after the gig I went to, I was listening non-stop! I'm surprised I didn't burn myself out. I think it'll be a glorious thing to return to after a spell of not listening to it.
October 7, 200916 yr I still love it also, in fact its growing on me still, I'll give it a listen at least once every 3 nights. Post your pics of the gig! If you have any that is.

So it wasn't just America where they had security on guard to prevent photos/videos etc. Some great videos on the screen behind for the songs, and some great riffs from Bristol last night :) One of the videos (I think for either the 2nd or 3rd song in the first half) was taken around the Vale of Pewsey I believe (the one with the inter-city train and white horse)
October 24, 200916 yr Actually, I'm a little disappointed by The Incident. It really doesn't transport me anywhere as far away as In Absentia and Deadwing... It's nice but PT got me used to much better.
November 5, 200916 yr So it wasn't just America where they had security on guard to prevent photos/videos etc. Some great videos on the screen behind for the songs, and some great riffs from Bristol last night :) One of the videos (I think for either the 2nd or 3rd song in the first half) was taken around the Vale of Pewsey I believe (the one with the inter-city train and white horse) Nope, the band have requested that no photos and videos be taken during gigs. In a more recent interview, Steven talks about how photography during a gig gets on his nerves and feels that it's very disrespectful to the band and other members of the audience. Personally, even if they allowed photography, I dunno if I could be bothered to sit and try to aim for nice pictures. It would take away from the experience for me.
November 15, 200916 yr Linton Samuel Dawson is a very strange song. And I've got it stuck in my head right now. ...just saying. XD And just bumping this thread up from page 3.
