I actually got come CP christmas haul!!! I got it yesterday, my best friend got me Coldplay: Look at The Stars by Phil O'Brien. It's really quite good, it's got some great pics and funny stories (it totally verified that Guy was drunk when he met Chris and Jonny haha). :D I'm in Coldplay heaven right now...

But I thought here is where you could boast your Coldplay Christmas aquisitions, seeing as how if you browse this board, you're probably a pretty big Coldplay fan and so your family knows that anything pretaining to them would be better than just about anything.

 

I got a book. It's called "Coldplay: Nobody Said It Was Easy" by Martin Roach. I think I've heard of it before, but it gives a very raw and in depth look into the growth and origins of the band as well as some pictures I've never seen before. :) (There's actually a very funny accont of when Chris got plastered after Will walked out in recording sessions and he was in Guy's apartment. Guy went out on a date and he came back and found Chris passed out on his living floor in a puddle of Ribena-laced vomit *Gross*.)

 

My mom says that there's something else in the mail and I have a feeling that it's the 2006 calendar, but I could be wrong.

 

Did anyone else get any tasty Coldplay goodies for Christmas? :D

 

I ordered the calendar off amazon a while ago (Oct?) but I was worried it was gonna be some cheap rip-off one as there was no picture displayed...I did get it for something like £3.49 which was pretty good! I also got given another calendar from my friend....Im gonna cut one up for posters lol!

 

I bought that book for £2.99 in Virgin, absolute BARGAIN!!! Really nice photos in it and its a good read.
