has anyone else had a chance to hear this yet???

if you havn't definatly take the time out of your life.. it's a very very solid record

If you're talking 'bout the Strokes we all now... i've heard Juicebox just once, but i like it..

Its not that good. There past 2 cds were exceptional. This one is kinda boring and I just dont like it too much. Big disappointment.

I really like Juicebox and I've heard a couple other songs from the album (i believe 4 in total). You Only Live Once is exceptional :cool: I do hope this album's good though---I'm buying it on January 3 :)

I got First Impressions Of Earth in the end of november

 

I'm quite dissapointed, Jules sings often very bad (really!)...

But the record contains good songs

 

You Only Live Once : album opener, with an intro which sounds like Blink182

 

Juicebox : First single and great vocal performance

 

Heart In A Cage : I like the guitar melody ^^

 

Razorblade : Have you ever played to Sim City ? It sounds like a music of it

 

On The Other Side : Sounds a bit dark, Jules seems drunk and the lyrics are quite amusing

 

And my favorite is Ize Of The World, if you can't wait to hear it, just download it !!

Some of the album is good and some isn't that great. But I can't wait to see what

 

they are like live. Don't be put off though the album is good and I would

 

recommend getting the album.

A truly remarkable album. Right when 'You Only Live Once' kicks in,you know you're in for a ride. Maybe the best track of the album. There are highlights such as; 'Vision Of Division','Ask Me Anything','Electricityscape','Ize Of The World',and 'Red Light'. Almost every song on the album is perfect. It is my favorite album of the 2000's thus far. BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!

I can´t wait to listen. Juicebox is amazing. I´m so curious about the video! :sneaky:

I got it a couple of days ago and it's an alright album. Didn't really make a lasting impression but I'm sure it'll grow on me after a few listens :)

More I hear it, more I appreciate it, especially Electricityscape and Heart In A Cage

But I don't really like Killing Lies and Ask Me Anything

I just got the new album 2day, i like it, especially tracks one and two.

The first time i heard juicebox i didnt like it, and was actually disappointed. But the more i listened to it the more i liked it!! Im buying the album today!! Im glad to know you guys have good taste in music besides coldplay!!

I am trying to get into it, but it's just so awful.

I'm struggling with the new album tbh

 

It certainly needs more listens but first impressions are average to poor :huh:

the new cd is really great. but i liked room on fire a bit more. my favs are automatic stop and 12.51.

on the new cd i love the razorblade, electricityscape (the chorus is soooooo cool), ask me anything(a really new style of the strokes) and you only live once. i don´t know how they choose juicebox as single, because they have so much better songs. juicebox looks like all the other fucking bands like the hives... but he strokes had their own style. first impressions of earth is all in all a great cd! :lol:

you only live once is amazing but im not really a strokes fan...maybe i will buy it.

holy cow...I hope you guys are kidding....that album is AMAZING. I LOVE "you only live twice" and "heart in a cage". dang.....

this album is amazing, the best release of 2006 so far.
