Now, I was at the game, and it was BRILLIANT. :D So everyone should praise a man who's been a star for Newcastle in these 10 seasons, and one of England's best strikers ever.

I just saw the goals of yesterday's Premier League matches and the goal of Shearer was nice. :) The supporters of Newcastle became crazy after Shearer's goal. :D Do you know how many games he still wants to play for Newcastle?

This is his last season, isn't it?

It's not that he's English, it's that he's Geordie. We have some pride amongst ourselves.

 

If Alan Shearer was Irish we'd still be chanting his name. It's about the record, and the fact that it's broken.

 

To us, Shay Given is an adopted Geordie aswell. So is everyone who plays for us. We don't go by birth place. :D
