I can't help it that I was the first one to open their mouths about someone writing in txt spk on here, which I had to translate. The reason I got upset about that was that she used someone else's avatar. So everything about it annoyed me. Shit, and I didn't know she had carpal tunnel.

Sorry for my tirade, it's just that really really annoyed me! I think rep is something that people who have known you gives you when they like you, or hate you. I was getting kind of sick and tired of all the pictures that I find ending up on a certain website - as if they had the divine right to the pictures that I worked hard to find and put up on my site. I wouldn’t mind, but if they have given me some kind of props for all the effort I make with finding pictures, typing up whole articles by hand and the screencaps, scans and uploads I do, just as they do [and I do] for their own members [who are a great bunch of people], who scout around for tidbits and pictures and upload stuff to share.

 

Now they have banned me from their site and go to great lengths to delete posts I’ve made, which is not only rude and out of order, but just plain DUMB!

 

It’s good to see that nazism isn’t dead…

 

But I don’t really care though. It’s a shame I won’t be able to hang out with people I love - who share my love of Coldplay and we have a good laugh. But, no matter, I’ve set up a messageboard for this blog and also I have one at GuyBerryman.net. So, if you want to chat with Nettie - that’s where I’ll be…

 

p.s. No good pm-ing me at the board. I can’t log in…

I don't know why. I think I may know.. but it's such a drastic move to ban her. She brought so much to coldplaying and I just still can't believe it and can't quite get over it.

People sometimes use my graphics/photos without permission, but I don't really mind... as long as they don't blatently claim it as their own work. But everyone reacts differently...

 

But it's not like she made the articles/photos/scans etc... though it takes time to type articles out and scan photos, they're not her own works.

 

I don't have anything against Nettie, i'm just kinda confused. She's cool--great sense of humor, encouraging, and never forgets to credit anyone when she uses a photo/graphic of someone elses...

 

I think Ian had a hard time with Nettie, with her advertising her own Coldplay site on this site, even though I think that's not allowed...

I see what you mean.. but It'd probably frustrate anyone to see caps you took the time to take and stuff you wrote and see it posted here and there without any credit at all.

 

I just don't understand why she would be banned. Only trolls [should] get banned and I don't think she ever did anything trollish. Unless I'm missing something. I hope it's like you say yellow_fever and it's just a temporary thing.. she will certainly be greatly missed if otherwise.

I think maybe it all goes back to the Guy getting popcorn story off the Coldplayer. Nettie typed it up on her site, she stated where it was from, and then it ended up on Ian's front news page word for word with no mention of her and only a message about spelling errors. I know she came on here and posted that thread where she complained about him using stuff off her site without giving her credit. I guess he got mad about her saying something, I don't know for sure. I hate to think someone could be banned just for speaking their mind. Some people have said she went about it wrong and shouldn't have made it public, she should have PM'd him instead. :\

 

Nettie has always asked for my premission to use any of my stuff and has always given me credit on her site. And Ian generally puts a thanks whomever on most of his stuff on the news as well. I don't know if he asks the person first if he can use it because all I ever post is shite that he doesn't need or prob want any of the crap I put on here. :lol:

 

I just know I miss her and wish she was back.:sick:
