it was just 30 minutes of guitar solos before I got bored and walked off

 

If you take from the start,there is no solo in Creeping Death niether in For Whom The Bell Tolls(only bass solo),really small one in Ride The Lightning,only one in Harvester.....youre a fuckin dick,leave this topic!

My dad who has many Beatles lps admits Metallica is better,because they keep playing much better and my opionion is well-known by anyone here

and i'm pretty damn sure that there are bands that are or have been more popular than metallica. Not that it makes metallica any worse really.

I dont know to you guys but Metallica's pretty cool with their music...... ive got to say theyve sold i think 100 million albums. while beatles sold about 500 million or more i think....... so dont compare them to the beatles its clearly impossible. and theyre from two diff genres . it depends on the persons view really. but i think metallicas ok. not a big fan really but i like some songs ive heard from them pretty catchy.and the guitar stuff cool!

 

But in terms of other heavy metal stuff i prefer disturbed or slipknot hehe

For me theyre not a band,just a group of people playing completely pointless music

I can accept someone not liking the Beatles. But the fact remains that if it wasn't for them, you probably wouldn't have most modern music.

lol Iron Maiden just hardly play better than Metallica

Maiden have consistently made great metal since 1980. Metallica are pretty crap now imo.

Their new is better than the whole Maiden discography IMO
