It actually turned out to be a good thing for me personally (so far) but really sad for all those who travelled and can't come back.

 

I would've loved a jam but maybe they didn't feel like playing. James had just been rushed off to the hospital, they did sound a bit worried. I don't know.

they didnt have to do songs as such, simply having a bit of a jam would of made some people happy.

I generally dislike the "metal" genre, and in-turn, most metallica songs. But I do really like "Fade to Black".

I am not a big fan of "metal" (a little bit goes a long way), but I like a lot of Metallica's stuff. Good band, great live, and deserving of the HOF induction. Congrats!

You gotta admit, it is a little funny. If I went on a Metallica board and started a Coldplay thread, I would be ducking for cover. And I don't think the fact that I like multiple genres of music would save me.

In fact they call Coldplay as Jethro Tull and thats the worst possible insult,because the Metallica members hate Jethro Tull as band and more for taking their grammy twice for best song

ive been watching Metallica's performance at Moscow back in 91 this week. does anyone know how many people turned upto that show?? some are saying 750 000 others say it was around 1.5million!! it was a free show held in an air field in the middle of no where.

Are you going? They had a gig in Vienna which is less than hour from me,but I couldnt go,because the tickets had been sold out in 3 minutes. I heard there were around 100 dudes sitting during the whole gig in my place fuck.

Anyway I will be seeing them on Novarock next month finally.
