I saw it. But not the unrated version. The rated R version was enough for me. It was pretty damn disturbing. It was good, though.

That movie was kinda hard for me... Usually don't like to watch movies with drugs theme but after all I wanted to see it... Hate the scene with Jared Leto during shooting himself in the car and his arm was purple/blue... disgusting. And his mother/granny (I can't remember) is crazy. Anyway good but not so great movie

I loved this movie, it was so sad.

 

Jared Leto, as much as I hate him was great in this, the musical score is fantastic as well

sick flick, very disturbing but quite brill. rather challenging to find the unrated version, though. n/a at your run-of-the-mill video shop.

We can buy unrated stuff here no problem

but it popped out and i just had to say that requiem for a dream is one of my favorite movies.... ive seen it a few times and it gets me each time!!! it's great!

Requiem For A Dream is one of those movies that is as good as the book. Maybe even better. The music is excellent, the acting is brilliant, and the cinematography is beyond belief. I had read the book before I saw the film, and I was blown away when I saw the film.

can't say I've read the book... but the movie was mega! Loved it... so sad too. But it was a well told story on the screen.. I can imagine the book.

I bought this movie back in 2002 after a friend recommended it, I was kind of in shock when it was over. Then I watched the movie Kids and was even more disgusted...:stunned:

Good movie, love the music from it.

Disturbing? No. Depressing? Yes.

 

It's a great movie.

 

Although the soundtrack was slightly ruined due to Sky Sports News using the same music

Clint Mansell's score for this is fucking brilliant. Seriously, it blows my mind...

 

(although a bit over-used in trailers by now...)
