Weird day!! I met a girl who went to school in Canterbury, where Guy went to school. When I found out where she was from I asked if she had met Guy. She said she didn't go to his school (she went to one called Simon Langton - a girls school) and wasn't friends with him or anything, but she says that she knew of him and as far as she knows he wasn't going out with Joanne while they were at school. She was dating someone older. She and Guy must have started dating after school, I guess.

 

Also, she said that Jonny's girlfriend Chloe was also at Guy's school! How weird is that - I guess he must have introduced them!

 

I pressed for more info about them but she said she didn't know much as they were at different schools.

they never said they're together from school...i always read that they met on college..it's logic if you consider what some ppl say (that Joanna is not english or whatever)-- ;)

The school that they went to - Kent College, Canterbury - is a part boarding school so if she wasn't from the UK she was probably lived at school. He and Joanna definately went to high school together but just weren't dating then. If you look on 'friendsreunited' website both their names - Joanna Briston and Guy Berryman - are there in the same year at high school. Jonny's girlfriend was also went to the high school and knew guy as a friend.

There is a website called http://www.friendsreunited.co.uk which lists all schools in the UK (you don't have to pay the fee to browse). You can look up Kent College, Canterbury (it's in the South of England). You can then find Guy and Joanna's names listed, along with all the people in their year of school - but there is no interesting info about them unfortunately.

 

The school website is http://www.kentcollege.com. If you put that in it should work.
