Studying.....Interests or future chances?

Featured Replies

Well............if you think about your future education....

Will you choose a topic you are most interested in or a topic you have the best chances to get a job in,......?

I will choose a topic I'm most interested in......I couldn't imagine doing something everyday and not liking it.......my father would be pleaed if I did something that has good future chances.......

i'd choose one i'm interested in...but i would have to go with something i would have better chances in

I'll probably end up going into Business Management.

Well, that's what I assume I'll be studying at university.

Well, I found a good compromise for my future:

I'm very much interested in aircraft engineering and stuff, but the chances to get a university place (not to mention apprenticeship training positions!) are pretty bad. So I decided to study physics at first, because it's easy to get a place there and the future chance are quite good, but the problem is, I'm not really interested in it (hey, it's physics!).

But now I found another possibilty: "Aircraft construction" - that study has a lower grade and less accredited than the engineering one, but I'll be able to get a place there and it's still very interesting!

So, maybe I rather give the interests a go :)

i'll probably strudy something in the feilds of biology and bio-chemistry... cause im really intrested in bilogy, and there's alot of research in those feilds, and i'm also pretty good in it

so it'll get me somewhere if i really wanna

i believe u can do anything u want if u set your mind to it, so u chould always go study something that intrests u. Usually ppl only succeed if they are intrested in their feild

Dont even ask me about my future.I have no idea

being interested in a career has to be a pro, i'm not gonna dedicate my life to do something I hate...but if I had to choose between 2 careers I like I'd consider the monew factor

Well..........I chose my subject now.....and I hooe I can realise it......I want to be a "bachelor of musical arts-Jazz and popularmusic".............well.....it's difficult to become that....but it's my dream............it's the only thing I'm absolutely interested it....and I will do it.....

I say be yourself and study what you really want/like! I'm studying Chemistry and have to say I'm really happy with it.

Btw, what's economics, business, marketing and related careers nothing but looking for future wealthy-chances?

Is quite funny I even have some friends that want to study things like "Petroleum egineering" just because they think they can get rich with it.

I will choose something that interests me... I'd never become an engineer or anything like that because I'm not interested in that at all... I don't have any idea what I want to be, but hopefully I'll know soon...

If you have to do something every day it should be something you like... my mum for example hates to go to work... I never want that happen to me... :/

I'm studying Chemistry and have to say I'm really happy with it.

Whow....I'll never understand it :surprised:

I'd like to be a politician.. but I'm not sure yet.... maybe I'll study economy..... heheh

Hmmmm, at the moment Im thinking of what I want to stuydy in College.

I was thinking of 'Business and German' or 'Law and German'. I dont want to be a lawyer though.

I'd like to be a medical diagnostician. w00t. or a neurologist........ or a radiologist...

or..

a photographer

graphic designer

artist (meh)

web designer

and... i would join the army or marines and have an MOS in Multimedia, but I have asthma, so that's out..

I'll choose to study something I like, beacuse I'll make money trading currencies, which will result in me being financally independent.

well it'd still be great to do something like I wanted to study some years ago...but t is not as easy as I thought....well actually I never thought it was easy...so I finish this apprenticeship in the music shop first and then I'll see what happens...

My family is split between encouraging my dreams and emphasizing a pragmatic career. I love music, but I just recently decided that it was unrealistic to pursue and that I could learn just as much about it stress-free on my own time reading books and taking private lessons.

I'm majoring in humanities now because it encompasses many of my interests and could eventually lead into teaching.

Future chances, of course! Don't be silly...

I'm studying Computer Tech. and Programming but I love astronomy.
