March 9, 200620 yr so my brother caught me with alcohol, and he says he's gonna tell my parents on saturday if i dont first. i have evidence taht he has been looking at porn whichwould get him in alot of trouble with my parents aswell. so i was thinking of showing it to him and tell him not to tell. thats the only thing i can think of, because if he goes to my parents ill be grounded from everythign but school until i move out and i cant have that. i dont know any other good way to handal this.

March 9, 200620 yr Author both. he sucks up to my parents and has that "hollier then though attitude" to most people. and is mr perfect to his friends. so this would ruin his image...so i think he might take my deal on this...but then again he may not. he could always trying to spin this on me saying it was my porn, and my parents do trust him more then me.

I've been in the situation a few times before and I'm sorry to say I always resolve it by tellin my parents first, but then it's not as serious as alcohol... Maybe, you should, plead with your brother, say you won't do it ever again (or you won't get caught doing it ever again:wink3: ) But you have probably already tried that. And if all else fails try the porn threatening and the getting to your parents first. Maybe if you tell your parents try to bend the story a little bit and make it more leniant to yourself (depending on what your brother saw), although that could backfire. Turn the tables my friend, turn the tables :sneaky: not so simple, i was brought home drunk after i passed out, and its was on of his good friends who's anti alcohol who took me home, so he will back my brother along with other people. but ill just stick with the porn thing, ill try to convince him it would be bad for the both of us to tell. i have 6 screenshots ofthe porn, and its dated, the dates happen to be when my parents went out of town and i had to stay all week at my friends house, and my brother was home alone, so i have my friend on my side who will vouch for me being with him that whole time, so if my brother tries to deny the porn he cant. thanks guys for the advice.
March 9, 200620 yr Author I could always have my brother beaten up...haha he told on me back in july after going to my first party, and i had kids from the party want to beat him up, but i told them not to. but he does tell, if i get pissed enough i could have him beaten up.

March 9, 200620 yr I hate to be the boring horrible person, but if I caught my little bro out drinking I'd tell him to either tell our mother, or stop right then before I told her. I'm protective but I know it's for his own good, so I don't care. But, seemingly I'm not like your brother. I wouldn't do it for the sake of annoying my bro. It seems like he just doesn't care. But again, if you're family doesn't approve of something SO MUCH that they'd ground you for so long, why do you do it?

March 9, 200620 yr Author the main thing is i cant go back to being stuck home every weekend all the time, im finaly getting back to hanging out with cool kids, and meeting tons of new people at parties. and at the last few parties i finally met a cool girl who's showing interest in me. thats the main thing, i dont care what my brother or my parents think, i just cant be held down right now with punishment. that is why im willing to do almost anything to keep this from my parents.

March 10, 200620 yr i sometimes do this with my brother....when he treatens to tell i say "ok then go tell my parents i don't care" and usually it works but sometimes it backfires and i end up running around the house begging him not to tell...well i think it only works with younger brothers i'll try today....is your brother older or younger??
March 10, 200620 yr man u guys have horrible brothers... one time i got drunk and my brother (who's older than me) came and took me home and he was so sweet, he was really caring and he didn't tell my parents. We even talk together about stupic things we did when we were drunk....... i dont see my parents finding out i drink as a "serious thing"... i suppose they already know- it's a hard thing to hide.
