well,a situation in my class:

i was asked by the teacher, what kind of music do i like? i said: brit rock and stuff like that

and bands?

answers: 1.Radiohead...reaction: who?

2.Coldplay... reaction: 3-4 people knew them,lol

3.Sigur Ros reaction: silence...

My mum seems to like Coldplay as she asked for a copy of X & Y so that she could play it in the car. Also I have given her AROBTTH as well.

My husband seems to like them, especially as he attended their concert in Manchester last year and will be accompanying me to the Isle of Wight festival in June. He does think though that I am a bit too Coldplay crazy because I like to play their songs alot and also like coming on here!! :laugh3:

My brother is the one who got me into Coldplay really...well he had the albums in like 2002-ish and I kept nicking them...

My mum and dad dont mind Coldplay...my mum actually went to see them at Earls court when I went although she had a seat that was in the last row in the entire place haha...she still enjoyed it a lot though and bought a t-shirt (that I might nick from time to time )

None of my friends really like them...went into a music shop today and Coldplays album was playing!! (AROBTTH) I was like yay!!! but my friend Helen was like hmmm...and shook her head. Her loss! My friend Amy doesnt mind them, she likes a couple of songs. But most people I know dont like em.

It's hard' date=' but I've learnt to bite my tounge and keep cp related comments to myself.[/quote']

Yep I'm finally beginning to learn that, but sometimes I say something like "I hope one day Coldplay comes to Finland instead of all those heavy metal bands" but I've got to stop doing that since every time they look at me like "wow, she IS crazy":laugh3:

It would be nice to laugh at Chris' comments and all that stuff with a friend, one day in the middle of a lecture I suddenlyremembered what Chris said in that interview before the Grammy's ("on national television he's about to do his business" ) and started grinning like an idiot, my friend noticed and looked a bit worried:lol:

Haha, that sounds just like the type of stuff I do! My friends just take one look at me smiling like a goof and they know what it is

I agree though, it would be nice to have a friend to laugh about stuff with :(. Hey, atleast we all have each other ;)

I showed my mum the 'away day' video last year and she thought it was hysterical. She was literally crying with laughter. That was pretty cool.

I know EXACTLY what you mean. I think of something really cool or funny that we'd discussed on here to add into a conversation...then think...wait...my friends DONT CARE!! Thats why I love this board.

So true, I'm so happy we have Coldplaying.com and all the people here:kiss:

Ahhh, let's say like this...my family is going mad with Coldplay, because they must hear them every fuckin day....my class mates also, because i always sing something from Coldplay, and my best friend started listen to them because of my, but she's now grateful for that..

yea. my friends don't really like coldplay. actually they give my crap for liking them. my parents are sick of them because i listen to them all the time. but my brother likes them almost as much as i do. actually he took me to my first coldplay concert.

Hmmmm, lemme think. I've got a vague feeling that my husband might like Coldplay!!

My sis has Parachutes & AROBTTH in her cd collection. My friend Charlotte has had Coldplay songs as ringtones.

after the concert my dad attended n the 4th, i know he is a fan. words cannot describe who he was skipping about like he was a little girl!! :lol:right after he left, all he could talk about was the concert, and everytime he talks to me online, he says how much he loved that concert, not only because we shared such a great experience together(which is something we rarely do:bigcry:) but alsoof the great quality of their music.

my mom, likes em a bit, and my granny hums the songs everytime i play em:lol:. my sis is as crazy as i am about them, and my brother is growing that craziness as well. as far as my friends goes... they are getting educated..soon they will like em.

My sister liked 'fix you', she said it was alright for a depressed band!!!!! Other than that I don't know a soul who likes them. There loss I say!

my family is ok with em, my sisters are probably fans but only listen to em, nothing more . i obsess about them about home but they dont mind lol. my friends on the other hand haha, i went to the concert with my friend and his dad HAHA. My friend is a fan since AROBTTH, his dad is now a fan sice the concert lol. when i get to school with my coldplay shirt i get, "you know how i know your gay... you listen to coldplay!" which is from 40 year old virgin, that sums it up

My sister went with me to my concert and I dare say she's becoming quite the fan. :wacky: She loves Talk, and I'm trying to introduce her to some B-sides and also Parachutes.

My dad didn't really have an opinion on them either way...until he watched Live 2003 with me one evening. He really likes them now and is dying to go to a concert with me, hehe. He completely rocks out to One I Love.

My mom has always liked them, not quite like me, but she thinks they're all really nice young lads and let me put SOS as a ring tone on her phone. My grandmother caught them on ACL....she enjoyed them more than I thought and was quite charmed by Chris's antics.

Watched Storytellers the other night with an in-law in the room, he thought they sounded 'terrible'. Thats an in-law for you I guess. :dozey:

Hmm, the lols appear not to be working.

My mum doesn't give a damn about Coldplay (" Cold- who?") So when I jump up and down in the living room when their vid is on tv or there's a new contest to meet them or something, she shakes her head at me and says "why do you pay attention to those men?" and then i feel so awkward and offended, so off the top of my head i start ranting about why I love these guys!

My dad, well he likes Yellow the best and Trouble, In My place, Clocks, Warning Sign and I'm suprised he likes Politik. Just yesterday I played Gravity for him and he thought it was great! (I was pleased he likes another one!!:smug: ) He now wants to go to the concert wiv me, if he wins tickets, (which is great, but i secretly don't want him to be there cos then I will be so embarassed when me and a friend scream something to Chris!! :tongue3: )

With my friends, well only one thinks some of the songs are good, and there was one point when I thought I'll have a crazy Coldplay buddy too! ...and then my hopes faded when she got stressed in school and turned to heavier stuff . Another friend says she thinks Coldplay's good one day and shite the next so  At least I've got one friend that likes 'em enough that I dragged her to come wiv me to the concert in 5 days *squeels*

Yeah basically, I'm trying to convert anyone and everyone to like Coldplay, at least even one song for Gods sake

my sister hates them uhh well she dosent hate them but shes realy sick of them but its my foulth haha my mom realy can say one from the other ( songs ) my brother mmm hes just likes yellow haha and my dad its a beatles frick so he hates everything else hahaha

Everyone in my house hold likes Coldplay accept my mom.Shes the one im trying to get to like them the most.My dad likes them which i find funny only cause its my dad but cool at the same time.My older bro says they suck all the time but i find him listening to them all the time haha.My little bro likes a couple songs an finds Chris funny. My main goal is to convert everyone i know to liking them or at least one song!So far im doing pretty good, just got to get mom to like them now!Although once i found her listening to Fix You but she wont admitt it.
