car crashes can really shake you up...

Featured Replies

not that i was in one. but my sister and her boyfriend were. the other car in the accident FLIPPED OVER. gosh my heart practically stopped when mindy (twin sister) told me my older sister was in a car accident. they were okay, excpet i think she might have a minor case of whiplash but she's too stubborn to get it checked out. i think everyone was okay besides the other car being totalted.

then not only a month ago my best friend got in a crash as well. the other car didn't have their lights on so they didn't see them. her family's car got completely totalted, they still need to replace it.

i got really scared about it. i mean, what if i get in one next? i've been making sure to wear my seatbelt all the time now even for really short rides.

it's so scary...

It is not very nice being in a crash. I got hit from behind a couple of years ago, because someone wasn't looking where they were going!!

Both my mum and daughter were in the car and luckily nobody was seriously injured, just received bruising and slight whiplash and I suffered from shock :stunned: for a while - they wrote the car off and had to get another one.

It is not a pleasant experience!!

I have never been in a car crash and I'm very grateful for that! I hope I will never have to experience one either.

It was a very serious car crash not far away from where I live a few month ago though. It involved four student from my school and a girl from Germany who was visiting our school together with a group from her school in Germany. The driver drove in a very high speed and lost control over the car and they smashed into a big cliff on the side of the road. The german girl was thrown out of the car and because one door in the back seat was ripped away the rest of the people in the back seat fell out on the road.

The two people in the front seats only got minor injuries but the german girl died and the rest were seriously injured and had to stay in hospital for several weeks. And it took a long time before anyone knew if they were going to make it, but luckely they are ok now.

This happend on a saturday night and when it was time for school on the monday after there were people crying almost everywhere and it was a relly depressing feeling in school almost the whole week after the accident.

You hear about car crashes all the time but you never think it's going to happen to you or to the people you know... :(

Some woman pulled out of a junction as I was passing once and went into the side of me. But no harm was done...thankfully

I'm glad your sis is ok Amanda!

I was in a car accident last summer with my boyfriend. We were waiting to merge out onto the highway and some lady bumped into the back of our car because she was discipling her bad children instead of watching the road...crazy women drivers

a friend was in a car crash two times.....like...monday and then AGAIN saturday

aww sorry about that amanda, that would be horrible hearing about it...

i was in a minor one a few years ago. an old lady didnt listen to the "give way" sign lol...

i think when my mum was pregnant with me, when she was in the car with my dad and my then 3 year old brother, they got hit by a bus, which wouldve been a scary experience, but they were alright...

I was in a car that got hit by a big oil truck, luckily I was sitting on the opposite side that I usually sit on, and nobody was hurt. It shook me up and really shook my mom up.

whoa, thats lucky! :o an oil truck!

I got into a car crash because I couldn't see anything because of too high grass. I tried braking because I was driving 43 Mph (70 KM/H), but the road was slippery and I got Fiat Panda at that time (my first car).. eventualy I hit the car infront of me and stepped out having nothing .... The car I hit was quiet new so the owner almost couldn't resist himself in beating me to .......

Luckily everybody got out ok, but it's a shock!!

whoa' date=' thats lucky! :o an oil truck![/quote']

Luckily it didn't have a full tank or I probably wouldn't be writing this right now.

I was in one myself a few months ago...not anything awful. It's still a nerve wracking thing. You are a little skittish for a while afterward.

Glad to hear people are okay...be careful out there, everyone!

Ohh i was also in a pretty cool crash. I know that sounds sick and twisted but everybody was alright. We were in a really big truck and a car turned into us off another street. All we felt was a little tiny nudge. The other car was totalled but the driver was fine. (other than the fact his car had just been totalled)

There was a car crash right next to me a year ago. I was walking along the pavement on my street and suddenly I heard brakes and turned around and saw a Mercedes getting flipped by a Ford Ka.

Scary...

i was not in a car crash but i got hit by a car with my bike a few months ago. I didn't know what to do but thank god i didn't get myself under the wheels of the van. the first thing i said when i got on my feet and saw the driver of the van was 'sorry', i thought it was my fault while it was clearly his fault. It was the morning when i had two examns ... I still did those exams and i failed for one cause i had a complete black-out. I still think I'm very lucky cause every day i hear about ppl getting killed or badly hurt when they're hit by a car.

quite scary this was ...

I been lucky so far, I haven't been in a car accident. I been in a bus accident before though.

  • 2 weeks later...

I crashed into the stone wall on our driveway with my parent's car the other day. It said KAABOM and all the the stones flew up in the air as if it had been an explosion :o

it was pretty scary but i'm still alive and the car is too
