I've read the replies of that thread... it's quite interesting to know how ppl got into them although in my case, I got into them 'cos I downloaded "Down in Albion" and I liked their album, so firstly, I fell in love with Babyshambles, then with Dirty Pretty Things and now with The Libertines. My order of discovering them wasn't the logical one at all. :lol: And these days I'm realising the band I like the most is The Libs. I think they were better together.... specially in their second album which has great songs. :dance:

I'll always think they were better together... Because basically nothing else would exist without the work that was done in the Libs. If just for that fact alone, I think the Libertines will always be number one. But nothing 'Shambles or DPT ever do can compare to even my least favorite Libs song (which I can't name at all, ;) lmfao!).

I agree. A lot of critics got me angry because they said down in albion was shit which I really didnt think at all but some Pete fans get me angry as well because they don't seem to understand what the Libertines were all about.

And I'm agreeing with you Dani about The Libertines always being the better one cause, well it's the fucking Libertines innit? I really don't like those kinda threads lately though. Or at first it can be interesting but I think that often it becomes a place to lash out at each other and the new bands which is so fucking unnecessary.
