The last cigarette I smoked was the day I found out I was pregnant with Apple. I had to sit down and smoke one final cigarette. Well its just one and it was her last..i know i would do that...

i think one last cigarrette the day you find out you're pregnant isn't a big deal, as long as it's your last, and it sounds like this was. for some reason, though, it kind of bothers me that gwyneth says she's going to go back to smoking when she's 70...i bet she's half-kidding, but i just think it's so disgusting and so harmful that i don't think it's really that good that she's going on about how lovely they are. to me its almost like she's advertising them.

 

i'm still surprised that she ever smoked, though.

she probably thinks that at 70, her life is almost over anyway.. so she might as well take up smoking again.. that's sounds stupid.. but it's the only thing I can think of that would be her reasoning. :confused: idk

well the way she said it, you would assume that she was just kidding around when she said that. but when you take in all of the other things she was saying & how she was acting so strange & trying to be all badass, i think unfortunately she wasn't. :\

I kinda understand what she means. I've never smoked, but I always had in it in my head that when I was an old lady I'd just enjoy myself, you know?
