Gwyneth pulls out of screening

Gwyneth Paltrow has been forced to pull out of a special screening of her film Two Lovers due to illness, organisers said.

 

The actress was due to attend the screening in west London on Wednesday night (March 4), but has been advised not to travel to the UK as she is unwell.

 

Gwyneth plays the volatile neighbour of a troubled young man played by Joaquin Phoenix, who moves into his parents' Brooklyn apartment following a suicide attempt.

 

Organisers said that there would be a preview screening, but the press line-up was cancelled.

Gwyneth Paltrow Is Stressed Out

 

Gwyneth Paltrow admits that she lives a “really blessed, weird, interesting life,” but says that even she gets stressed out sometimes.

 

Gwyneth, who has kids Apple, 5, and Moses, 2, with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, recently talked to New York magazine about what gets her down.

 

“I think what stresses me out the most is trying to do so many things at once all the time, trying to be a good, present mother, trying to act, to cook. I do a lot at once, and I think that sometimes the idea of trying to do all of that stresses me out a lot,” the Proof star says.

 

She adds one more: “Traffic really f—ing stresses me out.”

 

To unwind the health-conscious mom turns not to a comfort like chocolate or a massage, but to yoga, which she says has changed her life.

Gwyneth Paltrow's seemingly perfect is actually not the fairytale we thought it was! Shocking, right?

 

At the Bent On Learning gala she hosted last week in NYC, Gwyneth spoke to reporters for Life & Style about her marriage and said, "It’s hard! Nothing is as good as it looks. Life is complicated, and there are always issues to overcome. Yesterday, he went to Australia, and I came here; you have to accept that."

 

Even though split rumors have been popping up lately, Gwyneth assures us everything is ok. "We’re brutally honest with each other," she added. "Even if, God forbid, we weren’t together in 10 years or whatever, I think we’re like a family."

 

Hmm, so what's Chris going to say about Gwyneth opening up to the media about their private life? Chris is "going to kill me for talking about this," Gwyneth said. So why's she spilling the beans?

And yeah, what's there to be shocked about. She's actually mentioning it being hard in relation to the fact that he has gone away for a long while and she's going to miss him.

few months ago i didnt like her (you know why) but since i watched she was singing with him i like her, moreover, this article is... quite sad :(

I think is nice that she's not trying to put on a fake smile and pretend that everything is perfect. Relationships are tricky and i can't imagine it being particularly easy when your husband travels that much, specially when you have young kids and can't be joining him as much as you probably would like. I like her, and i aprettiate her honesty on the matter :nice:

I don't think it's anything to be worried about, she was asked a question and she answered it.

 

Lots of people describe their partner as their best friend.

 

It's a little soundbite from an event, it means nothing. Stop worrying. The things that Chris says/does in relation to her are far more weird, but we never comment on that.

 

Lets not forget that this is a man she recently admitted she had tattooed onto her upper thigh, you don't do that if you're not in it for good. :)

I think what most people don't get their head around it is a. that they don't have a "typical"marriage...how can they when one of them tours since last June most of the time and b. that like everyone else have problem in their relationship.

But to me it seem that they, opposite to most "famous" couple work actually on their relationship and don't just run of to the divorce lawer when they getting fed up with each other!

Well you never know.You make it work as long as you can.Day by day.When you get married you think you're gonna stay together forever but that doesn't always happen.I thought my parents would.They were together for 20 years.You gotta be realistic, you know

Plus we don't know what she was asked, is so easy to take things out of context when the press piece together random quotes.

 

She could have been asked if they would still be together in ten years for all we know and that's why she answered.

I agree it was probably just taken out of context, like pretty much anything a celeb says is, if the press can turn one little thing into something big they do

 

as for the comment it seems pretty small to me, she did say god forbid and every marriage is hard, i suspect theirs would definetly have its moments considering he is away a lot but like someone said they work through it not run to the nearest divorce lawyer
