This, for me, is one of those cheesy sayings that are echoed throughout the world way too much, that often dont actually mean anything and is just too vague to be useful. Until I realised how important it is...

 

Just thinking about people in social situations, infront of groups of people, how they present themselves.

 

I'll be honest, I find myself disliking 95% of people, and sometimes I think, is everyone really just dickheads?

 

But you can find the nicest personalities in anyone, often you have to dig deep.

 

There's a guy in my building from Pakistan, and I only sortof know him when me and my friends see him around, and hes just unbearable sometimes. He cracks the worst jokes, asks people why they arent laughing, as well as showing no consideration as to how you are doing or whatever. Straight up, he was just a dick.

 

Until I got on the bus with him the other day, its only a 10minute ride but I was really dreading the prospect of having to talk to him. But it was fine, really good actually, we just talked on the same level, for once, he didnt have to be corny, or a wonderfully funny guy, we just talked about stuff and it was great, I came off that bus a little bit, shocked.

 

And then the next day me and my friends are sitting there and he walks in, claps his hand, makes some big flashy LAME joke, and it was just...ugh.. why?!

 

Why does he have to put on such a fake personality? Hes a nice guy, but whenever hes in a social situation with a few people, he just becomes something else. And I really wish I'd see the better side of him more, for his sake as well as my own.

 

Shame.

I know what are you talking about, Reilly.Many people hide themselves behind masks of "funny outing guys", but it sucks, they should be themselves all the time, in any company.I used to know a guy, he was kinda shy and very nice to talk, but when he was in a company of another guys or some girls he was like another person, horny and kinda rude.I have no idea why people do that, it annoys me so much.Maybe they're just not very self-confident, dont know.

Pretty much most guys do it.hence the keyword 'most'. its this 'image' they think they've got to have in order to be respected and well liked (according to them). its like they cant show any weakness because then they arent man enough. well thats just what ive observed with a few of my mates

I have a big problem with people being fak, it really bothers me. I've seen it too many times in friends and stuff.

Oh....I know some people like that....

 

Best example is my sister......at home she can be the biggest asshole.....but whenever she is somewhere else than home...she is nice to everybody.....always joking...having fun...and popular at everybody....when we tell the people what she is like at home they can't believe it.....I think that's the difference between her and me....when I am somewhere else than home...but i am pissed.....then I don't care where I am...I'm just pissed then and that's it.....my sis is always the same....

like the last music club rehearsal......we were cleaning our instruments and we got in a bit of trouble...but nobody saw this....and after that we went to the other...I was pissed and didn't say much and stood there with an unhappy face....she immediately went to the others and behaved like everytime....

so....yesterday at the meal....we also had some trouble....I only said to her:"Damn you are so faked!".......she said:"Oh....yeah.....faked?haha....one of your new cool words....?"................and then she went away.....I hate her behaviour in publicity....

she is so strange sometimes.....

 

Aboput me I only can say that I always try to be myself.....

but I'm a shy person...and sometimes I think I'm not myself,but then not in purpose!

Its just so fricken, bland.

Pretty much everyone I know is like that except those close friends. There's a guy in my class, what you'd call a freak, he seems to know everything about every subject and he doesn't stop talking EVER, so when we're in class people laugh at him (I find myself in that group) because he really is unbearable most of the times. Still,he lives near my house and we take the same bus to school so we often have bus talks that surprise me,he's a nice guy and all that information he has about random stuff seem to fit.
