September 17, 200619 yr I'm fine thank you! The weather is amazing! Since last Sunday summer is back and I like it so much. During the week I was either at the beach or using a kayak on the river like today again. :) What about you? When are you moving to London? Kara is moving to High Wycombe today, or?
September 17, 200619 yr Wow that sounds great! :) It's been pretty hot here today too! I went out in my car earlier, and when I got home I realised that one of my arms had got a bit sunburnt from leaning it on the window for so long in traffic! Yep, Kara moved in today, hope she's doing ok! Funny thinking she's just down the road from me! Hopefully i'll go & visit her before I leave for uni on Saturday, show her about a bit. :)
September 17, 200619 yr Hehe, I can just imagine you driving through the city while leaning the arm at the window. :nice: Oh it would be so great if Kara and you will meet each other again. Are you doing the same with Ophélie?! God, I'm so jealous. :( Hope I could do a trip to London this year to meet you all. That would be awesome. Do you know if you will visit this forum regularly after moving to London? I'm a bit worried about it, because it was always a pleasure for me to talk with Ophélie, Kara and you. Where exactly in London is your new flat?

My right arm is a lot darker than my left arm.
September 17, 200619 yr ^haha really! Never heard that before! Yep my right arm looks so silly and pink now! :embarassed: Lars - Awww bless ya. Well apparently I have internet in my room, which is good news!....although it is dial-up, so I don't know how great it will be. But even if that doesn't work I will still get on here somehow! I actually had some problems last week, a mix-up with my application....very long story, but basically im now in different halls, about 15mins down the road from where I would have been. My halls are in the Islington area of London. It's worked out well though - these halls are apparently much nicer....the rooms are slightly bigger and it's in a quieter area....not on the busy main road like the others. I spoke to Ophelie yesterday, and we said that once we've both settled in we will definatley be meeting up! I can't wait to see her again! :) I really hope you can make it over to London sometime next year, it would be so much fun for us all to meet up! :)
September 17, 200619 yr Haha, I just wondered why your right arm is pink now? But you're sitting on the right side in a car... :D My left arm is little bit darker than the right one. :P So you're living in Islington near the Emirates stadium then? :nice: Oh god, last week my favourite football team played in London against Chelsea. First I thought I would fly to this game at Stamford Brigde but it was getting to expensive. :D Anyway, next month one of my mates and I will drive to Denmark for a weekend. I hope everything's going fine. :) So I guess I would have enough money to do a London trip after it. We'll see... A meeting would be so awesome, although I guess I'm the person who would do a lot of English mistakes. But it's enough to order a Big Mac at Mc Donalds. :P
September 17, 200619 yr Oh yeah! I always forget about the left hand drive in europe! Well where I was going to be originally was right across the road from the Emirates, but now im not so close. Ooooh im so so exciteddd!!!! Aww I really really hope you can make it over!! :nice: Hehe we'd all be like "where shall we go for lunch?" Lars: "McDonalds!!!"
September 17, 200619 yr Is it very expensive to live in London? I mean what do you pay for your flat every month? When I was in London for my first time I was shocked about the high prices there. Do people earn more money there? Hehe, no I had some trouble last week in a Mc Donalds restaurant in Oldenburg, so I'm fed up to the back teeth now!:P But maybe you'll know some nice restaurants in London then. I especially like Italian, Greek, Chienese and Yugoslavian cuisine. ^^
September 17, 200619 yr Yep, it's a very expensive place to live. I mean, most cities are expensive, but London is extortionate. One of the only things I really dislike about the capital. I will be paying around 100 a week for where I am, including a meal every night. So yeah, pretty expensive to say the least! Mmmmmm Chinese and Italian are my favourite! And Mexican too, yummm. :wideeyed: I will definatley be hunting out some good resteraunts in no time! :D
