I cant get used to going out every night.....some people here drink so much and theres always parties everywhere its cool! weird and scary and new, but cool! Too many names to remember too. I moved in on Sunday and we've been having inductions since Monday. The proper hard work will start soon! eeeeek!

Ah, the parties. I've been able to get out on the social scene some, but I just can't get myself out of the weekend-only party mode. I suppose that's a good thing, but if I want to get to know people, I oughta get out more...

Aww wow! Aircraft engineering sounds cool. They do some courses like that at my college, a guy in my flat is doing an pilot course.....hes gonna earn loooooads!

 

My course is Graphic Design and Advertising. All that kinda stuff.

 

Yeah I know what u mean about the partying....I dont wanna go out every night but then feel kinda bad if i just stay around in my flat. that hasnt happened yet as Ive only been here for 3-4 days. People are mental here! Music, drinking, parties....guess will get used to it!

Yeah, they always tell me, that my course is one of the most sucessful when it comes to employment after university which is kinda cool =)

yup, they told us things like that, too.

Yesterday in the first lecture a professor came in, told as for like a hour scientific crap about technical mechanics with loads of difficult formulas and stuff and the other students and me were like WHAT THE FUUUCK?! but later the dean came in and told us, it was just a joke.... pheeew :sweatdrop: what a bad joke! :laugh3:

I was worried...but Ive seen the standard of the other students work (we had to do a summer project) and I think I will be fine! Well I hope so!
