And I thought the drinks were smaller in America? We dont have big menus in our McDonald's anymore and they told us that it's because they had to change it in the USA.

Ask Mary about food in Texas. She was freaking out at the sizes. When the shit is so big it freaks out the Americans, well that's saying something. :laugh3:

I used to be quite good I guess! but I only learnt it until I was about 14. We had to decide between French and German and I chose French. I also had a friend who used to live in Germany, she helped me a little. ALSO....we used to be a host family to German students...so I learnt a few little bits from them too. and going on holiday too!:)

Some sushi and some grilled stuff.

At a good Japanese restaurant?

:nice: If I would be someone from the UK and have to decide between German and French, I would have selected French as well. :) It's easier and more important, because so many people are speaking French all over the world. You only find people speaking German in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and finally in Namibia. ;)

I would have chosen German' date=' definately.[/quote']

Really? Why? :)

Really? Why? :)

Because French is extremely difficult and German sounds a bit like English, so it's probably easier to learn for English people. I've been learning French for about eight years and my French is still horrible.

Yeah, that's true, German and English are very similar. ^^ I have to leave you now! Good night! :nice:
