I was tempted to go for those tickets that were on offer, but it was all a bit short notice and quite expensive.

If it had been a day ticket for CP I might have considered it, and it would have helped if I had been in England.

I just used Map24 to look for the kilometers I was running today... only 8,6km! It was too hot! :P

So... I arrived at Waterloo at 8.55 am... I was a bit nervous... I was thinking "I hope she looks the way she looks on the pictures :stunned: !!"

She was waiting for me at the arrivals gate, it was so strange ! We went to Starbucks (he he) and we kept on saying "omg ! it's so strange... I can't believe it's really happening !" But then, the "surprise" was gone and we started chatting and it was so great... we so got along !

Then we got lost in the tube... not exactly lost, but we took the line in the wrong direction :lol: ! But we only noticed it six stops later :p ! So we took the tube in the other direction, to meet her friend who accepted to make me visit the Accomodation building. We stayed there for about an hour, then we went to the Accomodation office because we had to solve some problems and then we went to Camden Market.. :D It was so funny, we saw "iPope" t-shirts, and all that kind of stupid things :p

Then we went to Embankment, we walked by the Thames, talked about the whale and stuff like that. We went to Trafalgar and ate at "Prêt à manger" (I love that name :nice:) and then we went back to Embankment. We went to the London Aquarium, we touched the rays and saw huge sharks, that was terrific ! Then we ate icecreams and sat by the London Eye. It was so sunny, it felt so good :D !

We went back to Waterloo as I was looking for a big supermarket (which we couldn't find ! there was only Tesco express :lol:!) and then I took my train :(

 

She's absolutely ADORABLE ! We so got along, we had so much fun... She's so nice ! What a day ;)

Wow, Ophelie it sounds soo great! And I also visited so many places you just wrote about, for example "Camden Market" (the Asian food there is delicious), Embankment, London Eye etc. I want to go back to London! :)

 

And the tube is really complicated. In Berlin or Hamburg every line has got a number, in London the lines only have names like "Victoria Line" or "Central Line". On my first trip I also took the wrong line lol. But I hope a sentence still stuck in your mind Ophelie... "MIND THE GAP"! :lol: :P
