bohooooo ... anyone here? or are you guys all crying cause england didn't play very well ... :P

England played exceptionally well in the first half.

In the second half they suffered because of the heat (30 degrees).

They got the win, which is all that matters!;)

Paraguay are a much better team than Costa Rica.

There's much better to come.:D

I was only pointing out that Costa Rica are one of the worst teams in the tournament, that's all.

They had no defence (not that Germany's was exactly impressive)!

Paraguay aren't a bad side.

Germany also got to play in the evening, when it was much cooler. That's a big advantage.

well, but i read somewhere that the current english team is the one with the best physical fitness for years ... :dozey:

and you're moaning about the weather now?!

hello :)

Fitness has nothing to do with it. Northern European players are generally unaccustomed to playing in such temperatures.

Let's see what happens when Germany plays in 30-degree heat!!;)

alright :)

England got three points that's what counts... they were doing well in the first half, it wasn't a very good performance in the second half, but as you already mentioned it was extremely hot. I'm sure they can do better than today...

Lol the heat? One of the worst excuses I've ever heard! You all must admit that Lampard, Gerrard and Crouch disappointed, that's all! Yesterday evening it was also hot at Germany-Costa Rica and Poland-Ecuador, especially in the stadium of Gelsenkirchen.

my opinion but no one wnats to admit that they weren't good ... :dozey:

Paraguay also had to play with 30 degrees!

The keeper of Trinidad & Tobago is amazing! ^^ BUt I would like to see a winning Sweden!

Rubbish - nowhere near as hot as in the heat of the day, plus your opposition were far poorer. England played well in the first half. The heat took its toll in the second. That's all that needs to be said on the subject.:smug:

Paraguay also had to play with 30 degrees!

Where IS Paraguay?? Check your atlas!!;)

The second-half performance wasn't good, but there was a good reason for it.;)

okay ... we all know that so-called reason now!!!

Paraguay also had to play with 30 degrees!

Sweden couldn't even beat Trinidad - useless!!:laugh3:

all in all, all the teams that played so far don't seem very strong ...

(except for england of course ... they're the best ,... yeah, it was the heat ... the HEAT! and that's why they couldn't even score one goal ... HAHA )

okay ... we all know that so-called reason now!!!

I know from running. I can't run anywhere near as fast when it's hot, and I run out of energy much more quickly. At the speed the footballers play, it must be awful.
