Hey Mark! On Monday I have holiday and on Tuesday there is national holiday (Germany's reunification in 1990 ;)) so I guess tons of German people are conquering the Netherlands, only to go shopping! It's the same every year! :lol: Maybe I will drive with the car to Groningen or Amsterdam on Monday. :)

Hey Kara! I'm so jealous... Hope your uni life is great. Yesterday my parents booked a flight to London between November 1st and 4th! It will be the first time that my parents are going to UK. :D But their English is good. ^^ I always told them how amazing London is. :wink3: It's also as good as sure that I will fly to London on December 1st. Next week I will book the flight, maybe together with another mate. :)

Hehe Sarah, when we all met up in Bremen at the end of July I thought that maybe Felix and you would become a couple. ;)

 

Felix, hehe the place where Richard Ashcroft should have sung... ^^ I still think about going to Madsen but I don't know how to come back to Bremen then. The train line is very bad.

 

Kara, I'm fine thanks! There are so many concerts during the following months and I also plan a trip to my lovely Berlin again. I want to visit some areas to watch out where I could live in 2 years.

 

I'm also excited about the flight, hope everything's going fine. The flight (Bremen-London-Bremen) still costs 40 Euro. :) But I only have time on exactly that weekend now. The weekend before I have a christmas party with my work-mates and the weekend after December 1st I can't take a holiday. Did you already met Ophélie or Steph again?

I met with Steph last Wednesday like I told you before I think, but havn't met with her since then! We will meet next Friday to see Maximo Park :dance:

Kara, Maximo Park... wow I would like to see them again! It was definitely a highlight at Hurricane Festival, not only it was minutes after midnight.

Maybe we can meet all in London, together with Ophélie. I guess her English pronounciation is much better than mine. :P

 

Marek, Helga is a female German name and a lot of people at festivals are shouting this name without any meaning. It's like "Bollocks" (?) in the UK. ;)

Where will they perform? At Earls Court? I like the frontman of Maximo Park, because he was so crazy in Scheeßel at the festival. After every song he was puffed, but then he always told something to the audience and directly started another song without any short break. :lol:

I'm still thinking about going to see Madsen (a good German band) in Hamburg. The problem is that I still don't have a ticket and the train time is bad, because it's national holiday next Tuesday here.

 

But I'm definitely going to see Tomte (my favourite German indie band -> http://www.myspace.com/tomte) in Oldenburg, Farin Urlaub (a German artist) in Bremen, The Killers and Mando Diao in Hamburg and finally Trashmonkeys ("Ohhhhoooo Attitudes in Stereo" lol; an excellent band coming from Bremen -> http://www.myspace.com/trashmonkeys) in Oldenburg. :)

 

Muse (Hamburg) and Keane (Berlin) would also be great, but especially driving to Berlin isn't very cheap. ;) Red Hot Chili Peppers (Hamburg) is another possibility but it's sold-out so I have to buy 139 Euro for one ticket now...

Yeah at the moment I often find myself listening to more German bands than I did before, but especially The Killers and Mando Diao will be my highlights in November as well. I like both new records.
