October 3, 200619 yr "Cheerleading practic"?! :dozey: Ok, I understand! Hehe, than maybe your family drove through my region. I'm exactly living between the Netherlands and Denmark. Both borders aren't far away. :) Yeah, I'm so excited! It's the first time I will meet some people who are living in another country. You don't have to speak German! I'm the one who have to prove my language skills in English. I really hope that I will understand you all. Sometimes it's so difficult to understand British people. American English is much easier to understand. Well if we have some communication problems, I will speak to Ophélie in French, so she's able to translate it in English. :D But I guess (and hope :P) it's not necessary. Why do you hate orange juice? ;)
October 3, 200619 yr Yes, we probably did drive near your region! Oh, I dont hate orange juice, its just one of the only things I can say...hahaha!!! Is "ich mochte" "i would like"? I cant remember!! Oh, we'll speak slower and I'll try not to talk about random crap...as it might be confusing...lol!!! Do you have much practice in speaking and listening to English? I always find it easiest to read other languages, but harder to speak/listen to. :( lol!

October 3, 200619 yr You're right... I'm impressed! :) Ich möchte = I would like You don't have the "ö" on your keyboard, right? Hm, sometimes at work there're a few calls from Great Britain (also one from Brighton :nice: Do you know Kimberly Clark? That's the name of the company.) so I have to talk in English. But true, it's definitely much easier to read other languages! :) That's nice that you will speak a bit slower. I will appreciate it. ;) Hey Mark! I'm sorry I have to go to bed! Good night! :)
October 3, 200619 yr @Mark...Im studying Graphic Design and Advertising. ah, I thought it was right! Yeah, I dont have that character on my keyboard...us English people dont do funky symbols, lol! Kimberly Clarke...isnt that a tissue/paper towel company? Im sure your English is excellent...its mostly English people who are too lazy to learn other languages haha.
October 3, 200619 yr @Mark...Im studying Graphic Design and Advertising. That's what I thought. Then you can compare notes with Leire next time she's about.;) ah, I thought it was right! Yeah, I dont have that character on my keyboard...us English people dont do funky symbols, lol! Kimberly Clarke...isnt that a tissue/paper towel company? Im sure your English is excellent...its mostly English people who are too lazy to learn other languages haha. Actually, that's not the whole story. I've come to realise that English is a much easier language to learn than most others, plus there isn't any pressure on Brits to learn another language, as everyone else seems to speak some English. It's much different for French people in Germany or vice versa, as the number of people speaking the "other" language is very small.;)
October 3, 200619 yr Hehe, we have nearly the same letters + ß, ä,ö and ü. You're right and sometimes my company is carrying Kimberly Clark's merchandises to Germany. ;) Well, maybe the reason why you think too many English people are lazy is that English is much easier to learn than f. e. French. And you're automatically speaking the most important language of the world :) So it's unnecessary. But I still don't understand why Britains have the possibility to learn German in schools. :D I'm of now, damn time difference... :( Bye!

October 8, 200619 yr Ah Kara, I just watched your video! Maximo Park is so great! :nice: Yeah, I really can't wait! November 30th - December 3rd! :nice: Hopefully we have a chance to meet! That would be so perfect. Unfortunately I got a problem by booking a room in my favourite youth hostel... Dear Mr xxxx, Thank you for your recent e-mail. Due to a large number of group bookings, youth wing rooms can only be booked for the current and following month. Should you wish to book for December, you would have to contact us again early in November. Please note that even then, we will be unable to guarantee any availability. We can make a booking for you at the moment only for 1 night i.e. 30th November 2006. Please let us know should you wish to make a booking for that night. If you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you again. Yours sincerely, xxxx Head Receptionist

October 8, 200619 yr I will try to get the room in November again. If I don't get one, I will try to get a room in the hotel where my parents will stay in 3 weeks. ;) But I was a bit confused... From Bremen to London you're allowed to have hand luggage in the cabin but not on the return flight... :dozey: Bye!
