2 weeks today, I think, but probably moving back in a weeks time. Got a new house! no more halls for me :)

Lucky gal :)

I think bands don't play this area because there isn't really any big indoor venues :(

A house sounds good. Are you sharing with some other peeps?

Dave maybe you should build a venue and become a big time promoter and give me and Kara free passes to all the great shows. :D

Nah, it will be too much work.

How far is the house from the main campus Kara (and which uni is it you go to?)

Lazy bastard! :P

The Underground best sort out all this strike shite before I come over!

Yup, sharing with 3 other students from my course (Graphic design/advertising). House is fairly nice! I got to choose the biggest room because I found the house :D It is about 1 mile from the uni.... Gonna take my bike anyway. noone has ever heard of my uni, its pretty small.... called Bucks Chilterns Uni.

I think thats a good idea Angie. Especially if certain good bands would play there and we had all areas access. :sneaky:

The tube strike ruined my plans the other day, me and Steph were to go to a gig in East London for her to take photos for the band. couldnt get there....sucked.

Kara and I have discussed it and Dave you must quit being lazy and get to work on this right away!

Well if I want to eat food today, I'm going to have to get off my ass and go shopping. Talk to you guys later.

So Kara...

...watching anything on TV later?

I just got out a film to watch for my uni summer project.... called "Brazil". No clue what its about really. Guess I'll find out.

You?

Not really, there isn't anything decent on TV later, so I might watch a dvd.

Brazil is a fab film. I love Terry Gilliam's films. You should also check out The Adventures of Baron Munchausen.

Ah cool....excellent. I read a review about it earlier and it seemed to be good. :) Shall watch it in a bit.

Oh hello, this thread seeing some posting again!!

Oh, I got a £5 of when I spend £30 or more at the new look HMV.co.uk.

Well as their prices are extortionate in the first place, I don't see how that can be much of an offer.....................

It's HMV.co.uk, a different company to the HMV on the high-street. Hence they are often cheaper than Amazon & Play.com for new CDs and DVDs :P

They are based on the channel islands you see, so you don't pay VAT if the value is under £18, plus they have free postage, even if your buying a single.

Aha! But you said you get five quid for paying 30 quid plus, so what about the VAT??

they send the items one at a time, so it escapes the vat charge

Whom is evil today?
