I have no fuckin' idea why people are still interested in them! They look like the most artificial couple you can ever imagine! She's thin as hell and he's probably the most arrogant bastard on earth.. Just because he knows how to kick a ball and she knows how to pose correctly in front of the camera, everyone thinks they're something special..

I also don't see the big deal in having a nanny.. it's not up to us to dictate how someone else's kid should be raised anyway. Apple is doing just fine and she has a nanny as well. Since Chris isn't always around Gwyneth might need extra help, that doesn't take anything away from Gwyneth as a mother.

i think you just said something that's been obvious for the last week, since there are pics that prove apple and moses with nannies, and i stop here, cus i don't see things on this same as you..i just want to say one more time that in no case i find her bad or anything less except a good mum, it's just that pics don't prove their case (from the last week).

I've only seen this video with a nanny carrying Apple - but Gwyneth was with them, too, she just didn't carry her daughter..

 

And there were a few pics of Gwyneth out and about on her own, but that doesn't mean that her kids are with nannies all the time - they can be with Chris, their grandparents, etc

No one said she was a bad mom but it's pretty much being implied in some replies here.

 

I don't really see your logic... nannies take care of your children when you're out and about. It's what they're there for. Gwyneth goes out (most times not with Moses.. why willingly expose him to the paps so early?) and the nanny stays with him, and she goes back home to her kid. Nannies can go out with the kids because paps won't recognize Moses as easy if they're with someone else. You get what I'm trying to say? It's not the same if Gwyn or Chris goes out with Moses, than if a nanny does so.

I don't say much on here, but that was one of the meanest comments I have ever read. And this whole argument is just incredibly insensitive. Have any of you ever thought that maybe celebrities just get tired of having swarms (not just one or two but DOZENS) of photographers taking their picture every DAMN time they stick their head outside? And, when they have their children with them, maybe they feel even more threatened, worried and overwhelmed? It's silly to go on and on and on in such a mean-spirited way criticizing Gwyneth Paltrow for being too skinny, for covering her face when she didn't want her picture taken, for hiring a nanny, etc., etc., etc. Celebrities live a life so different from the rest of us that we can't even begin to judge them on these trivial facts--and why do we even want to sit in judgement of them anyway. I think it's great that Gwyneth takes good care of herself and doesn't have any "baby fat" to lose. If I could afford a nanny, then I'd have one too because EVERYONE could use some extra help raising children. And whoever denies that is just full of shit. It probably actually makes her a better mother in many ways because she isn't burnt out for Christ's sake. And no celebrity raves more about loving her children like Gwyneth does. Well, though I do hate them...I must say that there are families I hate more. Such as...say, THE SIMPSONS. Ewwww. They are just talentless and their dad is soooooo creepy! Like that comment about Jessica having great breasts...God, you're they're DAD!!!

But I do agree that celebrities have a different life, and we shouldn't judge. I don't see anything wrong with Gwyneth covering her face with a blanket.. many celebs do that at one point or another. Seems like it might be one of those things one has to actually live through to fully understand.

Sorry for the rant. I didn't read the whole conversation. But it is too easy to judge celebrities too harshly. They have a fantastic life, but I'm sure there are days they'd like to chuck it all. :embarassed:
