OK, check THIS out! I went to see Metallica last night and what do I see? Black, inflatable balls falling from the ceiling during the last song, COLDPLAY-STYLE! And now I'm posting it everywhere! :wacko: This video was from the night before the show I went to:

I've seen Metallica six times now, and they have never done this before as far as I know. I couldn't believe it! I was so excited. But it was different. At Coldplay shows, everyone bats the balls around and plays. But at Metallica, everypne was trying to grab them to keep them! It was so funny! All these metal people, mostly guys, with huge grins on their faces b/c of some balls. It was so cool to see the fans react and the band kick the balls around. My friend caught one and let me keep it. :D

 

As we were leaving, he was carrying it and all these people were saying "Nice Balls!" :lol:

YEAH! And they had eight coffin-shaped things rigged on the ceiling (4 of which MOVED), each with lights AND A LAZER!!!!! THAT'S EIGHT LAZERS! I really wish I brought my camera.

My random Coldplay happening of the day was that I was playing tennis on the Wii this afternoon and had lost about ten times in a row, and then Life In Technicolor ii came on the radio and I won the game :D Coldplay's music must have special powers :lol:

i went to target today, and i think the target designers are on a butterfly binge. all the new stuff had butterflies on it! i wanted to buy everything, because now butterflies are inextricably linked with coldplay in my mind :flutterby:

i was in office max yesterday (i think it was office max, i guess it could've been office depot, they're right next to each other :dozey: :rolleyes:) and i walk in and there are big banners hanging from the ceiling with butterflies on them and throughout the store it was like a butterfly theme i guess. :D :D :D i immediately thought of coldplay & i sorta squeed, though i had to keep it soft so people wouldnt think i was constipated or something ;):lol:

I was just wandering around the kitchen, and suddenly I heard Viva la Vida in the next room! I almost fell over in my haste to find out.. Turns out it was an ad for the Grammy nominees CD on TV :dance:

 

Oh and I somehow ended up on MTV or VH1 or something for a little while today (ew, don't ask me why, it was horrible), and suddenly during the show The Scientist started playing in the background! It drove me crazy though, because they just looped the beginning before Chris starts singing, and I kept waiting for the verse to start :P (it never did)
