i just got back from our eighth grade moving up dance, and my bud (who, btw, is an uber coldplayer like me :D) requested Yellow...they didn't play it...until the end! i was so happy, and my bud and i danced and sang like idiots...people stared but i didn't care :lol:

today, my mom randomly told me about the first time she ever encountered coldplay (she's been a fan much longer than i have been). she said she saw the "yellow" music video on VH1 and thought it was terrible because the lead singer was so self-centered to only have himself in the video and not the rest of the band :lol:. then she bought parachutes and was blown away and forgave them :P.

 

then she said she remembered when i told her in 2005 or so that the reason chris was the only one in the video was because it was will's mom's funeral that day and they couldn't change the day for the videoshoot. she thought that was a good reason :P.

 

anyway, how's that for a random thought?
