Random Coldplay thoughts...

Featured Replies

The most AMAZING thing happened to me today.

I was with my friend, boyfriend, sister and her husband taking her son and his friends to the aquarium for his birthday.

The aquarium we went to, the Camden Aquarium, is right next to the last place I saw Coldplay in, the Susquehanna Bank Center.

The friend I was with told me she had to drop something off for a friend of her's that worked there and asked if I wanted to come... of course, I ditched my sister with all those kids. :P

So we went, they let us inside, and we GOT TO GO ONTO THE FREAKING STAGE.

I freaked.

And kept saying "COLDPLAY WAS HERE! COLDPLAY WAS RIGHT. HERE!" And then I'd go over to my seats and say. "THIS IS WHERE I WAS! WHEN THEY RAN PAST ME! RIGHT HERE!" and then I'd go over to each side of the stage saying "JON WAS HERE, CHRIS WAS HERE, GUY WAS HERE, AND WILL WAS HERE!! OH MY GOD!!"

It. Was. Amazing. :wacky:!!!

Ahahaha I can totally picture myself doing that too!:D

  • I just wanted to say, after 5 years of being part of the Coldplay fandom, first on Coldplaying, now on Coldplaying, Twitter and other platforms, a wonderful thing happened today: Coldplay followed me

  • I ran away
    I ran away

On this day exactly 5 years ago, a young and innocent person who was just getting really into Coldplay wanted to sign up on a forum called Coldplaying. Faced with the question of what to pick as a use

  • Today exactly 5 years ago, I joined the Coldplaying community and I don't regret that that. To be honest, it's probably one of the best things that have happened in my life! I had never thought I woul

"Chances are that they discovered the band a few years ago and have attended at least one concert. Their knowledge of music is very limited, and there is a 100 percent chance that they also like U2."

that might be true. :shame:

EXCEPT FOR THE U2 THING. :P

Yeah, I do NOT listen to U2.

LOL Karen:D

I just accpted the fact that no work was going to be done on that particular day:P

so did I after I saw the first posts :)

Ahahaha nice Em. But you do know that the projects are due on the 11th right?

17→If you had never met 6, how would your life be different?

I would never meet a person so addicted to Coldplay. Although I dont blame her.

I went into town today and ate at a restaurant that had a slogan that said, "Nothing else compares"! That's a line from Clocks XD

And I went to a cupcake shop and a clothes shop that had 42 in their addresses.

Yeah, I do NOT listen to U2.

Me either

Yesterday I went to a really bad concert but in one of the songs the guy kept singing "tell me your secrets" and I kept thinking "and ask me your questions":D

"Because of this, many white people have listened to a Coldplay song on their iPod while looking out the window of an airplane or car, imagining that they are acting out a scene from a movie about their life. It is their secret shame and it is strongly recommended that you never bring it up with them. Instead you should direct the conversation to white hero Gwyneth Paltrow and her choice of baby names. This is guaranteed to put a white person in a good mood."

MADE MY DAY :D

^LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:laugh3:

I for one have never done this... :uhoh:

:escaping:

I'll never forget when I visited my friends in Toronto, and four of us were in the bookstore (3 Asian women and myself) and they found the 'Stuff White People Like' book and brought it to me with beaming faces. I flipped through and found I liked most of the stuff in the book, but I wouldn't admit it. ;)

metoo! i was reading my friends book and i was like screaming the whole time, it was sooo spot on!

I saw myself in the chapter about Nalgene bottles. :\

Lol I looked through it before and I loved what I saw:D

^ :D Well I'm off to sleep Coldplayers, night!

G'night Kendall:)

Hey, another random thought, in the MTV X&Y interview what were the boy's nicknames again?

Correct me if I'm wrong, was it the following?

Chris: Fatso

Jonny: Fury

Guy: Tinker

Will: It was either "The Robbins" or "The Bobbins"

Haha and also, I think this are really funny but what significance do they have?

I was in Walmart to get some paper and I went looking for that Rolling Stone bag but couldn't find it.

I wouldn't have bought it cause it's kind of tacky, but thought I'd look for kicks. Maybe I'd use it for groceries?

That is a great feeling. I have done that both in car and airplane.. And train. :embarassed:

...but that's what it feels like when i'm listening to Swallowed in the sea for instance

Lol yes, that'd be us. Even though I've never even had a date and thus never experienced a breakup, i'd still understand what they meant:D

I went to a record store so I figured "Why not look in the Coldplay section".

I flipped through a few CD's, and for $15 there was this:

Awesomeness.
