  • I just wanted to say, after 5 years of being part of the Coldplay fandom, first on Coldplaying, now on Coldplaying, Twitter and other platforms, a wonderful thing happened today: Coldplay followed me

  • I ran away
    I ran away

On this day exactly 5 years ago, a young and innocent person who was just getting really into Coldplay wanted to sign up on a forum called Coldplaying. Faced with the question of what to pick as a use

  • Today exactly 5 years ago, I joined the Coldplaying community and I don't regret that that. To be honest, it's probably one of the best things that have happened in my life! I had never thought I woul

:)

That makes me so happy!

I think the first song I ever heard by Coldplay was Clocks.

Believe or not, I never heard Yellow until I became a fan. Isn't that weird?

I think i'd heard Yellow whe it was a hit meaning when i was about 6 years old or so. So like i knew it subconciously but not for real. I didn't hear it again until like a week before my first concert!

The first song I heard was either Speed Of Sound, Clocks, Talk, or Fix You but I don't know which.

My first was clocks to jsut know of it's existence and yellow vaguely like em said!

Politik as I stated was my "first" song though

Yeah my "first" song, well, it was either Fix You or The Scientist. But I think I'm gonna say The Scientist cuz when I loved Fix You I didn't love Coldplay at all, just the song. The Scientist is what made me be interested in the actual band.

Don't SHRUG at me:whip:

DID YOU WANT ME TO CHAAAANGE

WELL I CHANNGED FOR GOOOOD

AND I WANT YOU TO KNOOWW

THAT YOU'LL ALWAYS GET YOUR WAYY.

DONT YOU SHIVAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!

i was singing that in the parking lot of a barnes and nobles the other day.

I just realized this!!

GLASTONBURY 2005 IS GOING TO PLAY ON PALLADIA TODAY!!

It's at 3 PM EST.

It's Coldplay, the White Stripes and New Order, so, Coldplay won't be on the entire hour.

I don't like making threads, cause I'm afraid I'm wasting people's time, so If someone wants to make a thread about this go ahead.

I'm excited!!!!!

my mother said "I can't wait until school starts and you focus on things other than coldplay" and I said "who says that'll happen when school starts" and she replied "if your grades go down i'll...take coldplay away from you" and I said "um...how will you do that" she said "I'll take away your ipod" and I said "I can still play the songs in my head and I have dvds and posters and the internet" and she said "I'll find a way"

that's the kind of threat I receive lately ^^

I have the same conversation with my parents every other day :P

AH, today at school I went in to the drama class room (it's a big black room with nothing in it :D.) And they had music on, and we have these HUUGE speakers!! So then one of my classmates plays on Fix You and it made me so happy !

And then at the library I saw a book called "Gullrush", which is Goldrush :D.

I have the same conversation with my parents every other day :P

hahaha it's somewhat ridiculous :)

i think my parents are just glad that i spend my time obsessing over Coldplay rather than, like, doing drugs or something. :P

even though Coldplay is my drug.

hahaha i dunno maybe my parents are getting to the point that they'd rather have a druggie...........i don't think they appreciate how great an obsession with music is over...other things.

my mother said "I can't wait until school starts and you focus on things other than coldplay" and I said "who says that'll happen when school starts" and she replied "if your grades go down i'll...take coldplay away from you" and I said "um...how will you do that" she said "I'll take away your ipod" and I said "I can still play the songs in my head and I have dvds and posters and the internet" and she said "I'll find a way"

Oh, what have you done to deserve that? :(

aww Karen:hug:you're right about playing songs in my head though:smug:
