Random Coldplay thoughts...

Featured Replies

Today, when we picked the "Prayer Leader of the Week" in Theology (the person has to pass out papers, begin with a prayer/reflection/song at the beginning of class) she started by saying "This person enjoys music by Coldplay" and I was like OMG IT'S ME!! And it's a short week so I would be happy. And a few people grumbled "Grace..." and then she went on to favorite restaurant and she said a restaurant I don't even know about :stunned: Turns out, THERE'S A COLDPLAY FAN IN MY THEOLOGY CLASS. :wacky:

  • I just wanted to say, after 5 years of being part of the Coldplay fandom, first on Coldplaying, now on Coldplaying, Twitter and other platforms, a wonderful thing happened today: Coldplay followed me

  • I ran away
    I ran away

On this day exactly 5 years ago, a young and innocent person who was just getting really into Coldplay wanted to sign up on a forum called Coldplaying. Faced with the question of what to pick as a use

  • Today exactly 5 years ago, I joined the Coldplaying community and I don't regret that that. To be honest, it's probably one of the best things that have happened in my life! I had never thought I woul

I saw U2 yesterday at the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles and I wore my Coldplay shirt. :D

I saw a lady with a Viva La Vida shirt. I got all happy. :)

Then when they played Magnificent, it brought back memories of when I was waiting for Coldplay to come on a few months ago.

Okay, so some of you know that I have a teacher in my school who looks like Guy, right? Today he was pushing a TV on a cart and wearing a button down and black sweater vest. :wacky: Imagine if Guy wore that! HANDSOMENESS

yumm Lhuna! Today I meant to say some musical group's name to my brother, but out of habit i said Coldplay instead. I'm so used to saying Coldplay whenever talking about music!

Also, I miss my dear Mr. Capuana but Guy makes me feel better. Karen and Katie show me pictures of Guy....and others...... and then i feel better.

You guys don't know about Capuana do you? Oh well, another story for another day.

Probably. :nice:

i got to see the coldplay mtv live thing on palladia today! and i also heard viva la vida at the university my sister goes to.

i tried to not listen to coldplay for a week and i failed MISERABLY i lasted only about 2 hours!

ive decided to just go with the flow, this has happened before(listening to coldplay 24/7)...

after AROBTTH and after X&Y and i managed to listen to other stuff after a while, its a coldplay cycle that happens after each album i guess.

The Los Angles Times said this about the Bridge School benefit concert...

In stepping away from Coldplay for the weekend, Martin managed to be inspiring and playful. He opened with an instumental version of Hank Williams' "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" born somewhere between the funhouse and the madhouse.

From there he touched on Coldplay signature tunes including "Clocks," "Yellow" and "Viva La Vida," finishing with a delighfully loopy singalong of the Penguins' doo-wop hit "Earth Angel" that turned into one of those inexplicably touching moments that likely will be etched forever in the memory of those who were there.

Today, my cast of my play had a picnic and they start playing VIVA LA VIDA! And I was with my friend Mike and I told him "I'm gonna remain calm..." :laugh3: So, I go out of the room to listen to the song and the Coldplay t-shirt guy (that I've mentioned a million times) is by the DJ (well our stage director who was playing music) and he looked at me and gave me thumbs up! He requested it!!

That's awesome :D:awesome:

Wedding Bells

Those wedding bells are ringing up upon that hill

I don't want to swallow such a bitter pill

You keep moving baby, I'll stay still

I always loved you and I always will

La la la la, la la la la

Everything that went before doesn't matter

la la la la, la la la la

I always loved you and I always will

The chapel bells ring in a solemn drone

I cry when you talk to me in that tone

I feel like shit when I'm all alone

I love you so, baby, please come home

La la la la, la la la la

Everything that went before doesn't matter

La la la la, la la la la

I always loved you and I always will
