The other day I was sitting in a friends car ..while she was driving she had the radio station set to a sation that doesn't really play my type of music..After listening to a few songs they started playing Hardest Part..:heart: :)

Oy, I haven't heard CP on the radio in the longest time -- and I've never heard THP!

The other day I was watching "Edinburgh and beyond" which was just showing highlights of the Edinburgh comedy festival... anyway, the host, Al Murray, was talking about how British men r possibly the ugliest ppl in the world and thats why the musicians form groups and hav to write really good songs.. he went on to give examples of bands and guess what the first band he mentioned was? Coldplay! he was like "Coldplay look like startled meerkats" and that they "probably never got laid in their lives" and thats why they write the type of songs they do to attract fans... it was actually kinda funny... for some reason i was proud that they were the first band mentioned.

My little sister always watches this weird show about meerkats... now everytime I see her watching it, it will remind me of that

Meerkat Manor? Yeah it probably will... it always happens to me... after i've found something out on the forums or wherever about some coldplay comparison or another, everytime i see or hear the comparison im like "coldplay"

Yeah, Meerkat Manor, and I totally agree with you. it actually becomes quite annoying sometimes.

Yeah, not only for myself but for my family... i think they get sick of hearing about coldplay... i've been trying to reduce my talk about them tho

Exactly, thats why I came here. Because nobody else in my life wants to hear me chattering on about Coldplay. I can't live without talking about Coldplay though!!

Hehe. I remember in the good old days of late 2005/earlier 2006 I couldn't think of one minute where I wasn't thinking about Coldplay. :smug:

Yesterday I was laying on the sofa and my sister was reading a magazine, and all of a sudden she shouts "It's Coldplay!!!" so I pretty much vault of the sofa and run over to her and it turns out she was messing with me and it was just an article about the band Stellar Kart. I was kind of in that in between phase where I was so happy about Coldplay nothing could make me mad, and so mad about NOT Coldplay I just walked away. Later I was reading the same magazine and she said "Stop drooling over Coldplay!" Gaah.

^^I get that rush when there's something Coldplay related, too!

Whenever I hear (or think I hear) "coldplay" I always run over to where the voice came from... it's usually not coldplay though.

^When walking in the halls in between classes I heard these two boys talking about Coldplay. One of them had a song stuck in his head, i think it was Speed of Sound, and the other boy goes "Why do you have Coldplay in your head???" the first boy says, "Well, they're pretty good!" and the other boys says, "I know...they're alright....but why..." and that's all I heard. :D
