November 25, 200619 yr Theres a Lowes in Australia? haha, I for some reason always think that companies like Lowes, and Cheezits, and such are exclusive to America, small minded I know, but haha. Haha same with me! :P There's Cheez-its outside of the US? I never knew that!!
November 25, 200619 yr I finally got to see Coldplay in concert last year. Just so happened to be in Germany. The concert was great but I wasn't use to the cultural difference. I mean Chris was sing and he was standing right infront of the crowd and there was no pushing no trying to move closer, or trying to touch him just a whole lot of clapping and cheering after evey song. I mean they loved it they just expressed there love in a less crazed way. But I still loved the Concert, I mean it's Coldplay how can you not.
November 25, 200619 yr You are very lucky...I've never been to a Coldplay concert! Oh yes and welcome to Coldplaying! :D
November 25, 200619 yr There's this Switchfoot song and he goes "Spinning at the Speed of Sound.' And I was thinking about my projects and then Don't Panic came on...
November 25, 200619 yr oh and also last week our class went to toronto and on the way there (which is like a 11 hour drive i listened to the x&y and arobtth cd the WHOLE time and on the way back and in between as well ... and when i took my earphones out all i could seriously hear was chris's voice for like 2 days floating around in my head:laugh3: :stunned: ..yeahhh :shy: :rolleyes4:   Your avatar looks like Alex & Izzy from Grey's Anatomy.. Am I right? I haven't seen any similar scene before, but they don't really show any new episodes over here yet, so.. Is it them?
November 26, 200619 yr ^Oh my goodness!!! You are so lucky' date=' there are no people in my grade who like Coldplay except me and one of my friends!! There was one boy who I was sitting with at lunch and he said "Coldplay is beast..." and I thought "Oh my goodness, I love you" and then he said "....but the lead singer's voice is too whiny." So I said "He's cooler than you'll ever be!" and then I left.[/quote'] people from other schools say "beast"? i thought it was a phenomenon particular to my school...i thought one of my best friends invented it. that makes me a bit sad :( can it be used to mean anything or just cool? because at my school, you can use "beast" to mean anything, like "I beasted that test" (either i did really well or i failed) or "Im beasting a pencil" (im bringing a pencil). sorry. ill shut up now. my best friend makes fun of me for liking coldplay all the time (then again, he makes fun of me for EVERYTHING), but then ill look at his last.fm, and he listens to more coldplay than I do on my last.fm! (i listen to coldplay all the time, but mostly on my ipod or on CDs rather than itunes). he listens to coldplay basically every waking moment. he can be so infuriating  ^"green eyes" reminds me of him. and he only sorta has green eyes. my god, im a blabbermouth.
November 26, 200619 yr People say "beast" and "dieseal" here all the time. Ex: "That girl is huge and she'll kick your ass! She's BEASTLY!" or: "That test was a beast! I totally failed..." Anyway, my friend always thought Chris was a wimp until she found out he had a few...run ins....with the paparazzi. She goes, "Oh, well, he's not so wimpy anymore...." :P
November 26, 200619 yr except for the fact they play every "new" song every hour. Except the Z Morning Zoo is totally worth it, Elvis Durand and his crew rock! And yes, i know my teacher is awesome. To make it weirder...she's a religion teacher... (go to a catholic school, sadly, it's mandatory to take religion) bleh, Z100...i dont even listen to radio...it bothers me too much. but everyone is always glued to Z100 and know all the words to everything...case and point is "smack dat". went to a party last saturday night and everyone just kept reciting the words to "smack dat" while high on caffiene. our school reverend is going to incorporate "clocks" into a weekly sermon! every week for the past year we've had a song, and he's a pretty hip reverend, and soon i think its going to be "clocks"! he's made me want to go to chapel, and im not even christian. (neither is my school, for that matter. our chapel is more of a...meditation session based on music).
November 26, 200619 yr It's like how people always think I'm Chinese' date=' just because I'm Asian. :dozey:[/quote'] wow...you are Asian? where are you come from?
November 26, 200619 yr ^^I'm Vietnamese. :) You sounded kinda surprised! :P well...yes i am very surprise.so you study abroad in USA?so how you know Coldplay first?because I think not quite many people in south east asia listen Coldplay although I am from here, too.:P
November 26, 200619 yr ^I think Annie lives in the US. So my little sister was watching the show Meerkat Manor again.. and I remembered the comment somebody made about Chris looking like a startled meerkat... About the usage of the word "beast"- in my school people use it as "That was so beast" as in "That was so cool" or "i just beasted that test" as in "i just aced that test." People need to learn the proper english language... jeez. I'm playing this piece on violin and this one part sounds EXACTLY like the chorus of "Ladder to the Sun". I was kind of mad... what if whoever wrote the piece KNEW the song and decided to rip it off???
November 26, 200619 yr well...yes i am very surprise.so you study abroad in USA?so how you know Coldplay first?because I think not quite many people in south east asia listen Coldplay although I am from here' date='too.:P[/quote'] Yeah I'm Vietnamese-American. I was born in Philadelphia.

November 26, 200619 yr Random Coldplay Moment! Hey guys! I'm a newbie but I have a cool random Coldplay experience to share! :) My dad was watching the Football game that's on now in America (the Chicago Bears vs. the New England Patriots I think  ) and the announcers were doing a little interview thingy showing the quarterback of the Chicago bears: Rex Grossman. Well, as it turns out, Grossman's favourite band is none other than COLDPLAY! My mouth fell open when I heard their name and I turned to look at the screen and there was the infamous picture of Coldplay's heads. This one >>>> Then, right after that they played a short clip of "Speed of Sound"!!!! Awesome!!!! Finally, COLDPLAY have started to take over football :wink3: (not really)....;) Yay COLDPLAY!
