I live in Rome; today I was having a walk in the very city center with my ipod on, listening to AROBTH, and I thought how gorgeus it would be to see Coldplay performing in front of the Colosseum. The municipal administration from time to time organizes concerts there for free, I bet Coldplay wouldn't ask more than Mc Cartney, Simon& Garfunkel or Elton John (they played there before). Oh God, please let it happen someday, that would be magical!

Today I accidentally called my stepmothers granddaughter and my little sister's best friend for Jonny :laugh3: Her name is Jonna so it's very similar to Jonny. She thought it was funny. That got me thinking, Jonny... isn't that a pretty cool nickname huh?

On New Year's Eve I was watching the clock all night so that I would know when it was midnight in England for the boys!!!

On New Year's Eve/Day midnight, after I blasted Politik, I ran outside barefoot in the snow in my pjs and prayed to the blue moon (yep, it was actually blue!) that the boys will release LP5 on my 16th birthday or by the end of the year.

i saw sherlock holmes today which first of the FREAKING AMAZING!!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVEDDD IT!!!!

and i was constantly thinking of chris and jonny <3 but even though i knew their wouldn't be i was sad their wasn't a coldplay song in it :(

My guitar = Jonny

My bell = Will (that's the closest thing I had to a drum :laugh3:)

My other guitar = Guy

I had no other real instruments so...

Lol :lol: Well, I only have an acoustic guitar and a Keyboard so I guess I could call them Jonny and Chris haha. But I do have three GH guitars, a drum and a mic so two of the guitars can I call Guy & Phil (Maybe the mic would suite Phil better? dunno if he's a good singer) and the drums could be Will :awesome:

Viva la Vida by Coldplay compared to Darin's cover version in terms of sales in Sweden

It is now possible to compare Coldplay's and Darin's sales success when it comes to Viva la Vida.

 

Coldplay reached no. 11 for sales of VIVA LA VIDA in 2008 (its first year out) - peak position no. 5 or 6

 

Darin reached no. 26 after having 3 weeks as no. 1 and several weeks as no. 2 (and I guess that it is still high in the chart - haven't been home to listen for a couple of weeks)

 

And in the year-end chart for 2009 Coldplay is there as no. 43 with VIVA LA VIDA.

 

Conclusion (relieved): COLDPLAY's VIVA LA VIDA has sold better than Darin's sugarsweet cover version (Darin did imo not transmit the right sentiment of the song).

Well, that's good to hear cause I just can't stand his version of the song. The lyrics just doesn't fit with that sound. You don't get the same feeling as with the original.
