  • I just wanted to say, after 5 years of being part of the Coldplay fandom, first on Coldplaying, now on Coldplaying, Twitter and other platforms, a wonderful thing happened today: Coldplay followed me

  • I ran away
    I ran away

    On this day exactly 5 years ago, a young and innocent person who was just getting really into Coldplay wanted to sign up on a forum called Coldplaying. Faced with the question of what to pick as a use

  • Today exactly 5 years ago, I joined the Coldplaying community and I don't regret that that. To be honest, it's probably one of the best things that have happened in my life! I had never thought I woul

THERE WAS A BOY ON X-FACTOR WHO PERFORMED "A MESSAGE"!!!!

MTV's countdown of Best Live Acts in 2009

1. Coldplay - "Viva la Vida-tour" / World Stage concert recorded on 12 February 2009 in Japan

2. Lady Gaga.

Some of the previous posters referred to this countdown, I think when saying Lady Gaga was no. 2, but beaten - of course - by Coldplay.

I saw the New Year's Concert from Berlin as well - I always do, whenever possible. I love the dancing during some of the numbers and especially I like An der schönen blauen Donau / The Danube Waltzt - and today it was accompanied by pictures of Donau from its offspring and all the way to the Black Sea. When hearing this piece of music there is this anticipation of Coldplay soon coming on stage. But not today. And the Wiener Philharmonic Orchestra played a Danish piece of music too - "the Champagne Galop" by Lumbye.

Okay, I sat on the bus today, on my way home from my relatives. I heard a someones phone ringing and it sounded exactly like the intro to "Clocks". I tried not to freak out cause my sister was there too. But it turned out to be U2 "With or Without You". So I started to think of Will (cause he didn't like Clocks in it's early stage) and suddenly the pic from the ebay charity auctions where Will looks like this: :wtf: pops up in my mind. That made me laugh and then my sister looks at me with the same face expression! :laugh3: It was fun :awesome:

Btw...

Happy New Year! :D

This morning I was playing with Lego :dozey: 'cause my little nephew was making a transformer..

I made Coldplay out of lego... He didn't liked it !:stunned:

So I was wondering if it wasn't destroyed yet ....

:D

Happy Newyear !

I was going to say that! :P I was totally :surprised: :D when he said what he was going to sing/play that song.

I thought he was rather good. :) Except in the beginning where he goes way up in tone. I thought that was too early in the song for that kind of change. :stunned: The song should be more toned down or quiet in the first verses. But maybe that just takes some getting used to.

omg in the past like week and a half i havent been on here i have had like 2459734958760983 random thoughts i wanted to share, but of course i have forgotten all of them. :(

maybe if i remember some i will post! soo glad to be back on this site! having family here is fun but so little time to obsess over coldplay! :)

AWWW that was really good!! love that song!

My last song of the year( and decade :P) was Don't Panic. My first song of this year was Viva La Vida. :D I listened to it twice and I actually cried, I never cry but it was such an emotional moment for me because 2009 was the best year of my life so far. I will miss it, but I have a feeling it's going to get even better. 2008 was good too, and 2009 was better, so each year is escalating a bit.:)

I was at my cousin's house for New Year's last night and one of my nephews started singing Viva La Vida to me. It was so adorable, he's like 3 years old. :wacky:

^^ :wacky::wacky::wacky:

He's gotta be one of the coolest three year olds in history:P

I know, I love him! It was especially cute in the oh oh oh's part. :blush: The rest of my nieces and nephews like Coldplay too. I was showing them videos of my concert and they all want me to take them to one. It's like six children ranging in ages 3-9. I don't know if I can handle them all. I'll just go to more than one concert and take them each at different times. :P

^ What a problem to you! :P

:P Yes! Because I would hate to go to more than one Coldplay concert. :laugh3:

:laugh3::laugh3::laugh3:

:thinking: I need nephews and nieces right now!:P

:lol:

The only problem I see with taking them is that I want GA seats up front and I don't know if that would be too rowdy for them, or loud. Oh well, if they really want to go, I can put earplugs on them. :P

Awww...she's such an adorable little girl. :blush: Chris Martin makes really cute babies. :laugh3:

i wondered that if chris martin goes solo, he might just have an album like paul mccartney's "the essential paul mccartney", only this is "the essential chris martin". it kind of sounds sexy. :sneaky:
