  • I just wanted to say, after 5 years of being part of the Coldplay fandom, first on Coldplaying, now on Coldplaying, Twitter and other platforms, a wonderful thing happened today: Coldplay followed me

  • I ran away
    I ran away

On this day exactly 5 years ago, a young and innocent person who was just getting really into Coldplay wanted to sign up on a forum called Coldplaying. Faced with the question of what to pick as a use

  • Today exactly 5 years ago, I joined the Coldplaying community and I don't regret that that. To be honest, it's probably one of the best things that have happened in my life! I had never thought I woul

Today I was looking at the coldplay pictures I have on my door...I was staring at one, for no reason actually. After a few minutes I swear they began to move in the picture! :stunned: It was the strangest thing :wtf:

That's very good! I "converted" my mum. She went to the concert in Herning and listens to Coldplay often.

Why don't you think she would go to a concert? :) It seems like you're good going.

:wacky: Did she go to a concert?? lovely...thanks for the tip!!!:D

but it's a little early for her to like CP that much...concert are In Rio and São Paulo...and I'm in the middle of Brasil!

Thanks anyway!

i wish i had the life in technicolor t-shirt! anyone know where i can get a hold of one.

i ordered a cp shirt and when i try to check the order status online it says info for this item is not available. what does that mean??

THEY JUST PLAYED IN MY PLACE ON GHOST WHISPERER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D

In the opening sequence of the show, one character was doing a radio show type thing and all of a sudden the lights were flickering and the computer was going crazy and shooting out sparks and In My Place started playing from the computer. I was sooooooo excited!!!!! :awesome:

That wasn't really a tip, but no problem. :)

If I should give you a tip though; offer her to borrow your Coldplay CDs so she can get in on her iPod or MP3 player, if she has one. That way she's free to check it out any time. Make it an open offer though, not putting pressure on her... People tend to feel like doing the opposite when they feel that they get pushed to something, I think. But I don't know your mother of course. :P

It might be early now, but she might want to go to a concert on next tour. :) The distance sucks... :\ It's definitely worth the long way though.

Sounds like a Harry Potter scenario to me.

Definitely worth! :D thanks!

ahhh the entire episode of Ghost Whisperer practically revolved around In My Place!! Cause the ghost in the episode died while that song was playing, so when he was haunting people their radio or computer or phone would just randomly turn on and start paying it! It must have been played 15 times throughout the episode!! Every time it started, I started singing and dancing along! Needless to say, it was amazing

I was just going to write that I heard In My Place on that show too!:P I got all excited when I heard it and started to sing along as well. I didn't see the whole episode and I was just scanning through the channels and I came across that show and it seemed kind of interesting so I stopped to watch and then In My Place played like a minute later. I just saw the part where they were remembering where the ghost I think was drowning in a car or something like that. I only saw the very end.

oooh gotta see that episode, never seen that show before though

the other day i passed by Camden avenue

made me think of chris =)

OH, today I finally took down my Christmas tree and ironically enough, Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas(Coldplay version), started playing when I started to put everything away in boxes. :P my ipod was on shuffle.

Also, my english teacher was telling me that over Winter break she had family over at her house for New Year's and they were reading our poetry for her class and when they got to mine they obviously found out that I'm in love with Coldplay, and my teacher told them that they had never heard their music before. :stunned: So then they all told her that she had to listen to them and that they all liked Coldplay. My teacher said that they went all crazy on her and made her listen to them. She said she like their music and that she was listening them over Winter break!:D I told her I was so proud of her. :P

WONDERFUL - now she will be even more looking forward to what you're reading in future about Coldplay.

AND MAYBE she is going to ask all her classes to listen to Coldplay songs - pick one or two songs out and then write about their feelings when listening to their favourite song(s). Wouldn't that be nice? You could TRY AND FIX it by telling her that you've got this idea! Before you know it there might be a class of COLDPLAY FREAKS or at least be more than there was before.

Yesterday my Coldplay-loving (yet Jonny-bashing) teacher started making all these terrible Coldplay jokes ('Are you thirsty, Hayley?' 'Yeah, I am...' 'How about a Glass of Water?' )

And then he started walking backwards like me~

That would be so awesome. I would love to talk about Coldplay all the time in her class. Sometimes she plays music so maybe she'll play Coldplay now. :D

There's a few people in there that already like Coldplay. :)

:o Really? I thought it was January 31th? If not, I'm happy to be wrong! :P

I just want to see them... so I can say that they were all yellow~

Also, that day I walked backwards for the entire school day, whenever anybody questioned me I said "Nobody said it was easy!"
