It may come as a shock but loads of people,famous or not take all kinds of drugs, including cocaine and lead very normal lives, and get up and go to work in the morning, recreational drug use is very common and I personally don't judge or care if someone takes drugs, it's thier choice and thier life-not mine.

I'm the same as Deaths Friend in that a lot of the music I like has been written by people who have indulged in sex,drugs and drink and in mine and many other peoples opinions thier far more talented and interesting than the likes of Coldplay could ever hope to be.

I got the album about a week ago, it's pretty good.

ive been quite amazed at the criticial acclaim the album has received. it got album of the week in most major music mags down here in aus. its nice to know that people in the music scene appreciate her for her music not her celebrity status.

 

she's doing a small promo tour down here this coming week then she comes back in june for a proper tour.

yeah that's cool, she's doing one here in America too but not in houston:(

very catchy music from what i heard of her new album... i will have to say that the song "fuck you" is hilarious, especially how she sings it so innocently... it's great lol

i preferred the original version of the song (GWB) i thought she over did the swearing on the album version. but still one of the best songs on the album. but for me its more of a "sometimes" album that i might put on once in a while just to get my pop fix cos there is little doubting she is one of the most talented lyricist in the pop scene.

if anyone is interested triple j have put up 2 songs from the concert she did in their sydney studios are couple of months ago. the entire performance was acoustic and personally i thought she was wonderful. she doesnt have the most brilliant voice (and she admits it) so it was brave of her to do an acoustic performance in front of 50 people and broadcast live on radio.

Lily Allen is being treated in hospital for septicaemia just days after miscarrying a baby for the second time.

 

The singer is said to be "responding well" to treatment for the bacterial infection of the blood after being taken to hospital in an ambulance. Her publicist confirmed to Sky News that Allen had been readmitted for treatment and said that her "condition continues to improve".

 

"Lily Allen is back in hospital, where she is being treated for septicaemia," the representative stated. Lily thanks everyone for their messages of support and again asks that she and partner Sam Cooper be left alone whilst she recovers."
